Kenshin laughed on the other end. "Oh man, remember when dealing with super beings was the craziest thing we've experienced?"
"Makes it all sound normal in comparison." Maki laughed in response.
Toki looked at Maki whose clearly talking with Kenshin. It warmed her heart a little to see mom that happy, the last time she felt that way was with Dad. She frowned, it has been three years but its still fresh to her. She pushed those sad memories aside, Dad would've wanted the two of them to be happy. So it's nice that Ken's making her feel that.
"I've had an equally strange day myself. It's something I cant discuss over the phone"
"That strange huh?"
"Oh yeah"
"Well. Once things are calm. Are you open for discussing this over dinner tonight"
"I'd be honored. Have a good night Maki and wish Toki a good night for me" Kenshin hanged up after Maki wished him a good night in return.
He rest his back against the tree and sighs in relief. We now get a full view of a forrest area that looked like it had been destroyed by a violent storm. Kenshin opens his now Crimson Eyes and glanced down. With his gaze fixated upon the fallen creature he just decapitated with his sword.
