(Has she ever given the others any reason as to not trust her? I think not. Besides there's a balance when it comes to The Dark. It's not as one note as the more morally righteous like to believe)

But we should make it clear to the Kurosawa's and the others just what they'll be getting into by tapping into the Dark Arts so they know what they're getting into. Does that sound fair?) (MageTech!) Sigmis and Momo declared simultaneously.

(MageTech?) Chidori questioned. (Is that like...Magical Technology?)

(Oh, hello Chosen One!) Sigmis greeted. (Yes. Put simply it is technology that utilizes fantastical magic.)

"Clarke's 3rd Law." Chidori whispered out loud.

"What's that?" Hiro asked.

(That's correct. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. But the reverse is also true: Any sufficiently advanced magic is indistinguishable from technology. Therefore it stands to reason that they can be combined into one form to make both of them more than the sum of their parts.)
Momo summarized.

Chidori smiled. "That is super cool." She looked over to Hiro. "Our Guardian Spirits are thinking an upgrade for you."

Maki smirked. "You might want to sit down and hold onto something." She relaxed herself and began explaining everything she'd witnessed and learned today. About The World Saints, About The Goddess, About The Legendary Heroes, About The Multiverse, About Cosmic Battles, About Darius' Visit, And Everything Else! "Like I said. It's been a strange day. So anyway how are you doing?"

Kenshin laughed on the other end. "Oh man, remember when dealing with super beings was the craziest thing we've experienced?"

"Makes it all sound normal in comparison." Maki laughed in response.

Toki looked at Maki whose clearly talking with Kenshin. It warmed her heart a little to see mom that happy, the last time she felt that way was with Dad. She frowned, it has been three years but its still fresh to her. She pushed those sad memories aside, Dad would've wanted the two of them to be happy. So it's nice that Ken's making her feel that.

"I've had an equally strange day myself. It's something I cant discuss over the phone"

"That strange huh?"

"Oh yeah"

"Well. Once things are calm. Are you open for discussing this over dinner tonight"

"I'd be honored. Have a good night Maki and wish Toki a good night for me" Kenshin hanged up after Maki wished him a good night in return.

He rest his back against the tree and sighs in relief. We now get a full view of a forrest area that looked like it had been destroyed by a violent storm. Kenshin opens his now Crimson Eyes and glanced down. With his gaze fixated upon the fallen creature he just decapitated with his sword.

Note: All that and more will be answered in a short story featuring Kenshin

Master Ken is going to kick some serious ass!

Loving the interactions between him and Maki. You can tell the friendship between Maki and Kenshiro goes back a long way. He really is cool with everybody.

I am very curious as to what happened between The Wakamura's and Maki's husband/Toki's father. Seems like something that Toki and Chidori could bond over.
