Izzy examined Malty's face, channeling a little magic within herself she fixed whatever tear strains or mascara running from her cousins face. She reached into her pocked and showed Malty her reflection in the mirror. "A president should always look presentable to her guest"
Malty smiled then leaned forward and kissed Izzy on the lips. Izzy was surprised by that, this could be her first girl. As weird as it is, it felt pretty good. It was brief but enough for her to close her eyes and kiss her in return. Izzy could feel her body tingle, not knowing if it's from the kiss or Malt-Lake's vampire instincts kicking in from the kiss.
"I cant wait to taste more of you" Malty giggled
"War first, celebration later."
Baron was silent during the whole thing as his eyes scanned the two ladies. Izzy rolled her eyes and wagged her finger. "Sorry Baron. Besides, Dave already called dibs on you"
"Wait...When was that?"
"Just now" Izzy noted
"Ah. Long distance mental communication. Looking forward to it when the time comes" Baron smiled
Malty tilts her head at that. "Huh...I think I just might like my new in-law. But we much focus on the task at hand"
"Couldn't agree more. Lets check on the others" Izzy said

Her eyes fixated on the door where Izzy and Chidori left and a wicked grin crept her face (Glad to see you're finally coming around Izzy Bee.) Maki observed the reactions of the people within, whatever storm that arrived before certainly has passed now. |

Super power vibes right outside and you stood your ground with your head held high. I think you've got some real potential, Yoshi." "Well, you know, I might not be as powerful as you guys...buut...I am extremely lucky! Who know, it might pay off in battle one day." Maki sighed with relief and put the safety back on her gun and holstered it. "I'm glad everyone's okay but I feel like I'm a rookie again. I really need to get up to speed on the supernatural if I'm going to be any use." Ichika clapped her hands. "Everyone's ultimately okay though right? I say we perk our spirits right back up and put on some tea! Malty's probably got a rousing speech coming up and I for one want to raise a toast when she does!" |

Besides, I didn't even kill the Feond we fought. That thing blew itself up remember? Sure, I beat the ⬧︎♒︎♓︎⧫︎ of it but no worse than anyone else did." "You have controlled yourself admirably in the past but it isn't any one thing. There is always the chance of the stress of the job building up over time until finally you explode and something drastic happens. This is not meant to be insulting but you are as human as your friends and with that comes human flaws and frailties. Humans are wonderful, Chidori Chinatsu, but you are as flawed as any other being." Chidori took a minute to consider this and leaned back in the chair while crossing her legs. "Soooo what you're saying is...I need to train to control not just my powers but also to control my emotions and focus and channel my anger properly so there's less chance of me making said mistake?" Morgaine nods in agreement. "Many heroes like you swore they'd never fall. Yet all it would take is that one unfortunate incident." Approaching her she offered the older woman. "If it's Kicking Supernatural or Cosmic Ass 101 you need to learn Police Girl then I'm just the lady to help you achieve it. When I'm done with you those poor saps spines will be crushed by those Chun Li thighs of yours" Toki raised an eyebrow and whispered to Izzy, who just entered the room. "Is Ava hitting on my mom" "It's just Ava being charming, in the most platonic way possible. You'll adjust to it" Izzy commented Han reached over and placed comforting hands on Toki's shoulders. "Having an, I believe, actual Phoenix on our side could be an advantage." "Right right. Still reeling from those intense moments earlier" Toki leaned against Han. |

Chidori didn't have to say it but she could feel her heart swelling when she looked into her eyes. They nodded to each other and looked back at the conversation. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Maki?" "Yeah. Hey Momo? Remember when we walked through The Hall Of Legends? Would it be possible to communicate and train with the spirits of those ancient heroes?" Maki asked. Hana looked over at Chidori. She had her usual game face on but she could already tell. That Chidori's attraction was shifting away from Maki towards Yoshiino even if they hadn't officially started dating just yet. It was obvious to everyone who could see them. Good for them. Besides Officer Wakamura had enough admirers as it was without Chidori's precocious crush complicating matters for the team. Still, Maki's question did get her thinking and she finally stopped shaking Momo to think about it. "Everyone is. It's been a strange couple of days for everyone so you're not alone in feeling that way. The best thing we can do right now is sit back and relax in the freetime we have at the moment and let all the stress melt away." Han advised Toki. |

Most importantly Baron, who too was observing the police woman's demonstration. Amaya also took note of the way Baron would look at Maki the same way she'd look at the girls from High School of The Dead. (I am getting so much material from this place)

Amaya also took note of the way Baron would look at Maki the same way she'd look at the girls from High School of The Dead. Did I say something funny?" Maki questioned. "No, no, not at all." Malty calmed down. "That's an excellent idea, Maki, if we combine our training here on the mortal plane by training with the ancient heroes then we can drastically expedite our training and drastically improve our abilities. We'll see what we can set up." Malty replied. Baron chuckled. "Yes Ma'am." Hanzo stepped aside and gently bopped Amaya on the head with a pillow. "Down girl." He whispered. Toki booped Amaya's nose. "Or its horny jail for you again." |

Maki made a mental note to inform Kenshin regarding this when he returns from his trip with Rin. After all he's her partner and it wouldn't feel right with her to leave him out. Plus, after that whole issue with Hawk, Ken would like to be ready should any of the Feonds threaten his daughters.
Amaya smiled up at Han and Maki then saluted both of them
(All of you are gross) Hana made a face and followed Ichika as Guinevere guides them. Gwen turns and blew a kiss at Han before she made her leave, unfortunately for her Toki intercepted it with her hand.
"Wow, a house maid even? You know how to pick em Solo" Amaya complimented
Toki just silently took the pillow that Han was holding and gently bopped Amaya on the head.

"Maybe if you attended more of the theater club's plays you'd learn these things." Toki pointed out. "Maybe I would if their choreographers would work with me." "Your proposal was too violent and you know it." "More like too badass."
"I heard that. West Side Story does not need Mortal Kombat-level violence." Toki scolded. "Where would they even learn all those moves?" "Gangsta's don't sing and dance either." Chidori retorted. They stuck their tongues out at each other but as ever there was a playful element to their banter. "Okay now I'm curious, what happened?" Takako asked. "It's a funny story actually. We'll tell you tomorrow." Toki replied and patted her on the back. "Goodnight my friends." Toki turned around to follow Han when Malty jumped him. Toki circled around Han and reached up to Malty and pinched her cheeks. "A little decorum please Miss Battousai." Baron noticed the maids around the room staring right at Toki and just waved them off. "It's cool guys. They're just goofing off." |

"Sure thing Chi-Bird, lets go Hana" Hiro motioned for Hana to follow her and Chidori, seeing her still playfully clawing away at Momo part of her felt amused by this. Oh Hiro was, by no means, an idiot. She figured the stuffed bear out around some time during the hospital. From the cautious glances that Chi-Bird gave it when Malty was holding it to the abnormality senses that Aria got. So with that true believers, why did Hiro allowed herself to let the teddy bear experience a brief moment of Marshmallow Heaven? One simple answer is she's strange that way.  "OK. Little guy, you've suffered enough" (Oh thank kami!!!) Hiro reached over to grab the teddy bear but to discover that her little sister has one heck of a firm grip on it. "Didn't you once say that it looked creepy?" "In a Creepy Cute kind of way" Hana retorted "Fair enough" Hiro laughed and lets go _ "Mind if I join you outside?" Baron asked Maki |

The group arrived outside at the balcony and Chidori did a wand-twirl and holstered her wand in her belt before taking her flask out of her pocket, popping the top and sipping from it. "Ahhhhh, man that's good." She finished it and returned it to her pocket before retrieving her phone and she began typing up a long text message for her moms, both biological and adoptive, to explain how awesome the sleepover was going and how much they'd learned together so far. Baron gently closed the door and walked over to Maki as she called up Kenshiro. "Kenny, you are not going to believe what kind of a day we've had here." She mused. Hana walked over to the railing and looked out at the ocean. "You know, Teddy, I'm glad I'm hugging you right now. The past few days have been really crazy for us." "Tell me about it." Takako spoke up. "I feel like I just got wrapped up in a gigantic cosmic epic and I'm completely unprepared. I'm all in but it's a bit overwhelming." |

(Remind me to give you that long overdue hug when I provide you a body Aria) Hiro knelt down and rubbed her younger sister's arms in a comforting manner before she stood back up and faced the others. "OK, there's something very important that needs to be said- All right Baron you've got enter stage" she stepped to the side and gave Baron the floor. (He's the prince and it's his castle so it's only appropriate) Baron, surprised yet thankful for Hiro's generosity. As he stood next to Hiro it was his turn to address the guest. "Not going to lie the last hour or everything leading up to this point has been pretty intense. And as of now each of us have come to the realization that we are going to be dealing with something that is beyond our weight-class. Whatever enemy we'd face we will prepare ourselves for it. No matter how much it will push us to the edge we will defeat it. Not just because of whatever super or magic ability or chosen by fate; No offense Chidori" "None taken Vamp-Bro" Chidori commented "Or because of our personal affiliations. It's because of the connection that each of us have. Should either of us fall then the rest of us will be there to lift them back up.
