Prologue
The Christening of Prince Rin Lord Yun stood at the balcony as he looks on at the city from below. Holding his infant son Prince Rin who watches the city with him with intrigue, Lord Yun couldn't help but smile down at the infant Prince. Even at such an age he developed a keen sense of awareness. Yun could rest peacefully to know that the city will be in the right hands of a capable leader, "I know what you're probably thinking, just what are the people below doing? Ironically enough, I once thought the same. Granted I was about five years older yet the curiosity was there. With me, it was wondering what could the nobles be doing while they relax in their cozy palace? It is a question I want to answer myself." Lord Yun paused for a moment, he contemplates on telling the prince that story of his life. He had come from a life of humbled beginnings and sacrificed a lot to get to where he is now, chalk it up to maternal instincts but he felt his son is too young for that kind of tale. "There is so much about me I'd like to tell you, when you're old enough, I will." |

It's so nice to see Prince Rin's father in person and this is a perfectly sweet and heartwarming way to do it! IC! The King was approached by a tall man with red-violet hair, amber eyes, and strong facial features. He appears to be middle-aged and dresses in a black trench coat and pinstripe trousers along with a red scarf and a hooded, gray and white flower-print mantle. He's wearing a trick top hat on his head which hides shuriken blades inside of it. On a similar note the cane he is twirling also contains its own hidden blade. Such was the way of Benedict Lawrence. He did not advertise that he was a warrior, as that usually invited undue trouble, but woe be to anyone who underestimated him. He had hidden weapons all over his outfit for a variety of scenarios. He stopped and bowed his head to the king and waited to be spoken to before speaking. Lord Yun finally turned to face him. "Hello, Benedict, I trust you bring good news?" Benedict performed a quick tap dance and then paused as he tipped his hat to his Lord. "I come with glad tidings, your holiness." He looked up and smiled. "Our Special Guest has agreed to attend the ceremony. Prince Rin's Christening promises to be a memorable one." |

"You hear that?" Lord Yun smiled down at the Young Prince who cooed in response. He approached Benedict and pats him on the shoulder in a congratulatory manner.
He had no doubt she'd attend, He had known her since he was a kid and he knew that she'd never pass up this kind of an event. Of course her attendance would spark some reservations, especially from his brother Van and his Lieutenant Euphrasia. But they know to trust their lord and they know that Yun isn't stupid, nor is their special guest. After all past experience has taught him that, if you want to go further in life then you'd have to make your share of unlikely allies.

He reached up and placed a hand on the side of the marble statue's face. "He has your eyes you know? You would be so proud. I'll see to it that be grows into a good person" |

It's sad that his sister passed before such a wonderful day but I'm certain the family will do right by her and raise the young prince into a true hero! |

I'll see to it that be grows into a good person" Sun Xinyi approached quietly from behind and bowed silently to the statue of her Aunt while she waited for her father to finish paying his respects. Note that Chinese names are in the order 'surname', 'first name'.  Van finished praying to his beloved sister and stood up again. "Hello Xinyi, is it time already?" "Oh, no, not yet." She lowered her hands to her golden sun dress. "I simply wanted to make sure you were doing alright. This is a big day after all. Prince Rin might not realize it yet but he is taking his first step to the throne this day!" A tall teenage girl, Xinyi's attire comprised of a long golden dress with the symbol of the Sun emblazoned on the chest. Beneath her dress she wore a tight black bodysuit for ease of fighting if necessary. She wore fancy white shoes on her feet. She has a kind and beautiful face with dark eyes and dark hair. She has long strands of hair on the side of her face with the back of her hair tied in a ponytail. |

Note: Sun huh? Any relation to Aryn Sun?  Van bowed before his sister then faced Sun. He wore a black suit with an armored breastplate. He doesn't think anything would occur but he has always felt the need to prepare himself in advance, especially should he ensure his Nephew's safety. "It is a big day for the little one but lets not get too ahead of ourselves. Lord Yun still has a long way to go" He reached out and pat Sun on the shoulder, "I also appreciate your concern but I'm alright. Just wanted to remind Kira that her son is in capable hands" |

Note: For the curious, she's a half human/half orc Commander Sun Rana of the Royal Guard watched from afar, dressed in her black and gold armor she smiled at her two comrades. After everything that they've been through it's nice to see them get this one glimmer of pure happiness. And it does her heart good to find that the next generation is providing that. |

"And I will be the Sun that lights his path so that he will never face the darkness." Van smiled, he reached up to cup the sides of her face. "I know you will my leannan. I have no doubt about that." She beamed and the room indeed became illuminated by the light her Semblance was generating. "I will do my utmost best, father. It will be my honor. Whether it be as his Sun or his Sword, Prince Rin will never face the darkness while I'm around." |

"I trust this fine day finds you well, Lord Yun?" |

"Very well, Rana. I have a good feeling about today" Lord Yun responds, slightly bouncing the infant up and down in is arms. Prince Rin giggled and cooed at that. The infant prince glanced up at Rana then at the sword to her side. Rana noticed the expression on his face, it isn't the usual curiosity you'd expect from a baby yet what could possibly be a wanting desire for something. Rana smiled, (Got that warriors spirit within him) "Not yet youngling, you'll get the opportunity one day" Rana stated in a soothing manner Note: NIGHT BOYS! Come the next update is the christening of Prince Rin! |

The Christening! It was a monumental event. The biggest in the Kingdom's History. Royalty from all over the world of Residuus were coming to the celebration! Royal Lords from the Ethaeneian Kingdom, Ephoterra Empire, Vreviel Kingdom, Kulon Kingdom, Uthuning Kingdom, Gresisal Kingdom. Doucazar Empire, Xosetha Empire, Nuicceviel Empire Povekha Kingdom and even the far off Color Wheel Kingdom had arrived! FIreworks exploded overhead while the various dancers paraded through the streets. It was a lovely, exotic, hypnotic, mesmerizing dance all organized by Terpischore herself! While she was known by her nickname of The Dancer of Death, one could not deny her incredibly ability to put together such a well choreographed celebration to celebrate the Christening of The Prince. It might've been Queen Heimarmene's suggestion but Terpischore was the one who chose to have fun with it. Speaking of the Color Wheel Kingdom's Queen, lets meet her now!  Riding into the celebration on the back of her pet Behemoth*, a large towering muscular horned creature she'd named Biscuit, dressed in her royal attire with her Golden Crown in her hair and her a golden dress with a crimson top worn over with it and a smile on her face. She had her loyal archer Sherwood by her side dressed in her green armor by her side. Heimarmene glanced at Sherwood and she nodded and took out a special arrow from her quiver and quick launched it into the air where it exploded above the castle in a beautiful gorgeous firework display that spelled out the words ALL HAIL THE PRINCE! She bowed to the applause of the crowd and The Queen casually threw handfuls of gold to the onlookers. Of course she had a retinue of guards following behind them but Queen Heimarmene Karāhoīru just does not do anything the normal way. Lord Yun chuckled. "I won't ask how she managed to tame such a creature but this is certainly a surprise. She always did know how to make an entrance. Your information was right on the money." "My thanks your highness. Rest assured, we do in fact have a stable large enough to hold it." Benedict assured him.  *now, behemoth, which I made as well as you. He eats grass as an ox. Look now, his strength is in his thighs. His force is in the muscles of his belly. He moves his tail like a cedar. The sinews of his thighs are knit together. His bones are like tubes of brass. His limbs are like bars of iron. He is the chief of the ways of God. He who made him gives him his sword. Surely the mountains produce food for him, where all the animals of the field play. He lies under the lotus trees, in the covert of the reed, and the marsh. The lotuses cover him with their shade. The willows of the brook surround him. Behold, if a river overflows, he doesn’t tremble. He is confident, though the Jordan swells even to his mouth. Shall any take him when he is on the watch, or pierce through his nose with a snare? Job 40:15-24*  |

Rana scanned the guest that are arriving, she is rather impressed by the turnout as way too many to count has honored the invitation. She ten sensed an aura radiating from one of the guest, she closed her eyes to pinpoint the source. Once opened she smiled at where it came from. Commander Ramina Kastagier, even among the nobles there is something that made her stood out among the others. Riding on the back of her Dragon Companion Asura could be part of it.  When you're hailed as The Hero of Valeria one couldn't help but arrive in style. Asura roared, flapping it's four wings, as it makes its destination. "OK that is pretty sweet" Benedict commented with Lord Yun as he observes this, "I was starting to wonder if she'd show, given her schedule" |
