The badass Dhampire we need after the failure of Morbius. There's a reason that the other vampires just sat back and let him hang himself. They knew that Carmella would lay the smackdown once the fraudulent Archmage pissed her off. Oh yeah, you do not want someone like Priscilla killing you. She gets scarily creative. Carmella scaring the hell out of him was more than enough to put him in his place and satisfy the elders. Even after all this time however the others, powerful as they are, still respect his name.

tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/InspirationForTheWork-The idea for this story came as a response to one too many concepts of vampires being brooding romantics they're normally depicted in films or tv shows by reconstructing them as the monsters they should be. At their worst the vampires are no different than serial killers. Even those of noble intent has a vicious streak. **This also flips the script on Dhampirs. What if there's more than one Dhampir and there's the possibility that not all Dhampirs hunt vampires. In Carmella's words. Carmella: "Yeah, I like the Blade films too but lets be real. If such a Dhampire who hunts vampires exist then that would inspire all of the vampire guilds to band together. In short the Dhampir Vampire Hunter wouldn't survive within a year"

Vampires are undead and loving it! They can be sociable, sure, but they're also downright terrifying monsters and this a series that owns that! Yeah, while it's not impossible to hunt Vampires, it is not advised unless you have a whole lot of help or are allied a particular faction, otherwise you are going to be hunted down by everyone ganging up on you and ripping you apart.

Exactly. No matter the beef one guild has with another, if there is a common enemy that could wipe the whole guild out then they'd call a temporary truce to ensure said threat is eradicated. You also have The Blood Hunt. Imagine the Ex-Communicado from John Wick but include every supernatural, slasher, and a wide variety of nefarious individuals.

Precisely! That brings me into the next point. Not every group is going to field the same agents. Different factions can have different resources. Not just vampires but all manner of beings at their disposal. Priscilla for instance has an entire army of killer dolls, puppets, toys, animatronics, etc she can field as agents on top of the usual threats. Some are machines, some are demonically possessed, some are demon conduits, etc and you won't know the threat is supernatural until you're already in her trap. Imagine having to deal with a house full of Annabelles acting as demon conduits while a horde of little Chucky-esque killer dolls swarm everywhere firing toy guns that shoot laser beams at you while command an entire military after you. It'd be chaos. Not to mention? Your allies/friends/family? Could be Demon Mannequins in disguise or just illusions or possessed already. And that's just the stuff she can field casually. That's not even getting into the bigger and scarier things she or the others can bring out if they get serious.
