Tropes associated with the web serial belong here tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Capepunk-Much like the other works this one tackles the importance of super beings and how much they affect the world they live in. **The intro of the story implies that a city attacked by an alien invasion isn't magically repaired overnight. Most of the buildings and locations are still in need of repair or under construction. tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CompositeCharacter-Dark Avenger is a combination of Batman and Arrow's Oliver Queen. Granted you could say he's a superhero equivalent of Kenshin Hamura. In the past he used his skills as an assassin as a means to execute criminals in the name of justice. Now he seeks for alternate methods in handling criminals and opts a no kill rule as a means for atonement for his past actions. tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SpiritualAntithesis-Towards my other web serial The Knight of Wolf-Crest. The Knight of Wolf-Crest uses some inspiration from the classic Marvel Comics while this one is a direct tribute towards the DCU. The Batman Mythos to be specific. One is set in a distant future while this one takes place a good fifteen years from where we are now. **This is also in response to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as The Author feels like whatever major events that occurred usually gets erased, thus avoiding any big consequences that the heroes have to deal with in the long run. In this one, whatever action a hero take they have to live with. No matter how big or small it is. tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/StealthHiBye-Played with. Kenshiro commented that he'd signal Henry when he should properly use it as they're being observed by Elizabeth Skarsgard. Henry comments that he doesn't do it when out of uniform. That doesn't stop Ken from wanting to see his Dad's vanishing act. Henry just promptly go "Nice try" and walks away

And the world is still around! AMAZING! But for real, very cool and I like that we're getting a new take on Batsy's stories since I have no real clue on what's going down in the comics atm and other adaptations have beeen...less than flattering regarding Batsy. Eff you Injustice!Yeah, things have been weird in the MCU and who know what's going to end up being canon after Multiverse makes everything go topsy-turvy, so having a solid continuity makes sense! Very cool! A Superhero making amends for past sins in this way works out great! You could even mark that second one under realistic outcome!

Dick Grayson started the series with a rather strained relationship with his father/mentor Bruce Wayne while here Kenshiro and Henry's relationship is not only stable but Henry even provided him some encouragement and advise as his son is trying to establish his own legacy among the superhero community.

And that is far from the biggest problem on Titans! Always nice to see a universe where events happen with actual consequences and don't have easy amnesia magic handwaving! Very cool! Nice to see a new fresh take on Batman focused around classical heroism!

Very cool! Nice to see a new fresh take on Batman focused around classical heroism! It's honestly one of the things that turns me off from the MCU. While there are some things about it I appreciate, consequences erasure is a big deal breaker for me. It's one of the reasons why I like The Boys as a character's decisions has results that they must adapt to. Even the last season showcased that Homelander isn't as invincible as he'd like to believe.

Yeah, Homelander's big weakness has always been his psychology and mental state in both versions and the show really leans into that.

Shared Universes Baby! So it's closer to the book version? That's pretty cool! I hear they used power armor in that version!

tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/RationalFic-Let me put it this way. In any work of fiction you'd have Ken and Liz antagonize each other. They're both too smart for that nonsense. **Also. A competent earth military is capable of holding its own against an alien threat. Granted the heroes lend the assist but still.

There's no telling what kind of insane things they could have ready to throw at whatever threatens the Earth in this universe. Save the smack talk for the bad guys after all.
