The Larusso House had become the center of a battlefield. John Kreese's bloodthirsty Cobra Kai students had invaded the Larusso Family's Home from every opening with murder in their eyes and crazed fury in their voices. What should have been a friendly get together and bonding experience between the kids as they worked out the merger between Johnny Lawrence's Eagle Fang Karate and Daniel Larusso's Miyagi-Karate-Do had turned into a brutal battle for survival. The house was trashed in the resulting fight. Windows, tables, furniture and vases were broken and shattered in the fight as the kids fought to survive. Blood and sweat sprayed on the floor as they crashed against things and viciously battled for supremacy but as the battle wore on it soon became clear which side was going to win.
The Cobras were brutal, they were violent, they were dirty, but they were also angry and giving into their brutality. They were so focused on overwhelming their opponents and giving into violence and their anger that they lost focus which made them sloppy. Furthermore, they were alone whereas the Miyagi-Eagle Fang Karate Students were able to rally together and protect one another against their assailants. Things got even worse for The Cobras when one of their best fighters, Eli 'Walter Hawkman' Moskowitz, finally realized that what The Cobras had turned into under the deranged leadership of John Kreese and snapped back to reality, lashing out with a series of kicks against the Cobra Students that freed his friend Demetri. The Binary Brothers finally reunited, they went to town on the Cobra Students, fighting back to back like well oiled machines! Mitch and Chris meanwhile tag-teamed up against Doug Rickenberger. Utterly overwhelming him with their combined strength and durability to roll over him and smash him against a wall, hammer him down and throw him into and through a large table. Seeing his old friends finally reunited and fighting together like a team was enough to give Miguel Diaz the second wind he needed to not only recover against Kyler but also finally break through the last of his mental blocks stemming from Robby Keene's kicking him over the railing and regaining the use of his legs.
What happened next was the most brutal asskicking Kyler had ever received since that fateful day in the cafeteria. Miguel threw him off, got back up on his feet and attacked him, expertly blocking and deflecting his attacks while utilizing the Drum Technique that Sam showed him once, as a demonstration, as foreplay for a makeout session, but that didn't mean he didn't get it.
It was essentially a double punch attack that doubles as a block. You position yourself with both arms to your left and swing them both one after another, the first as a backhand and then the second almost directly behind it as an open palm attack or punch.
If your opponent gets hit he gets hit twice, which sucks the most. If your opponent dodges the first in any direction other then stepping backwards, you can still step forward and adjust your angle and attempt the second strike as a very quick follow through. If your opponent blocks then he's braced himself to absorb the shock of the first blow but leaves him vulnerable to the second which you can use to now strike at his arms properly, like say his elbow, and damage the arm.
Miguel went all out with this and even incorporated some kicks and knee strikes into the attack while advancing on Kyler and hammering him relentlessly until he was finally weakened enough that Miguel could take him to the ground, get on top of him and continue utilizing The Drum Technique on Kyler's face in an increasingly violent frenzy to reduce the once cocky, arrogant, sociopathic bully into a crying, shivering, whimpering bloody mess on the floor. Miguel stopped there. His point made. He stood back up, caught his breath and ran over to help his friends and end this battle.
The battle turned completely against The Cobras. With Hawk turned against them and their star students defeated the rest were unable to stand against the combined forces of the Miyagi-Fang Karate Students. They were either beaten down or flat out gave up and ran for the hills. A couple of them circled around and grabbed Kyler and escaped with the sobbing blubbering bleeding beaten battered bully in tow.
With the Cobra students pulling each other up and running away the house slowly quieted down save for the exhausted gasping and heavy breathing of the students with the exception of the two girls screaming from the in-house dojo in the back. The students rallied together and ran to help. They gathered in front of the dojo just in time to see Tory Nichols come flying out of the dojo! She crashed down on the floor groaning in pain. Miguel looked from her and back up to the dojo to see Samantha Larusso gasping for breath and standing on one leg with the other leg raised up and bent slightly with her hands clasped in prayer.
The Crane Kick. The karateka stands on their right foot, lifts their left leg, opens their "wings" and takes balance. The karateka jumps on their right foot and kicks, their arms will go down on guard but the opponent will expect a left-foot kick. If done correctly, there is no defense. Miguel knew it well. Not only had he utilized the technique himself but Sensei Lawrence had made it very clear how bitter he was over it.
Good Times.
Tory managed to drag herself up to her feet. She stumbled around a bit but she managed to catch herself on the table, spit out some blood and wipe the blood from her nose. She turned her head to look back at Samantha who had lowered her leg and taken up her fighting stance again. Tory looked left and right at the Miyagi-Fang students surrounding her and took a few cautious steps back before she turned around and hightailed it out of the Larusso House with her tail between her legs!
Miguel started after her but he sighed and let her go to check on Sam. She fell to one knee from exhaustion and she held up her hand and gave a thumbs up to her friends.
Fortunately they didn't have to wait much longer before they heard cars pull up outside. The Larusso's entered their home to find it a complete wreck with Demetri doing his best to guide the others into treating everyone's injuries with the First Aid Kit and medical supplies he was able to find in bathrooms. Carmen Diaz and Johnny Lawrence followed suit. Laughing and joking initially until they saw the devastation littering the household and the conditions the kids were in.
Amanada and Daniel ran up to Samantha while Carmen shrieked and raced over to check on Miguel leaving Johnny trembling with barely repressed rage. He walked up to the kids and loomed over Hawk. He stared him right in the eyes and glowered at him.
"
What happened?" He demanded.
