Note: This is....Sort of a year one scenario that chronicles Hiro’s first outing as Guardian. Timeline wise this takes place just a few weeks after the Suko incident.
Thought this would be a good way to establish Hiro as the Guardian the city deserves

Chidori would still be dealing with the aftermath of course but I think when she meets Guardian later is when she starts looking for hope again.  |

Prologue Guardian of Hinansho"Aria, I've been mulling it over, since I'm looking at doing this full time I should have some kind of a catchphrase that matches who I am and my motivation" Hiro speaks with her A.I. companion ARIA(A Really Intelligent Android) through mental communication as she observes Hinansho on top of the roof of the Nakatomi Hotel.
"Are catchphrases a little played out?" Aria asked in a voice that is a little sweet and bubbly for what is supposed to be a robotic lifeform.
"That's the beauty of it! What better way to bring it back by making this one sound cool? And this will only be used when the situation calls for it"
"Well, I've known you long enough(around eight months) to know that getting you to make up your mind would be futile. So i-" Aria was disrupted when she noticed Hiro holding back a laughter: "What's so funny?"
"Oh nothing. Say Aria, could you do me a favor?"
"What is it?" Aria asked
"Say 'Resistance Is Futile' ."
"I know what you're trying to do and it's not going to work" Aria concludes the response with a raspberry sound effect.
"Someday Aria, someday"
Aria picked up an alert that is about a few miles west of where they're located. "I pick up a hostile threat that is located within the Shinron Museum of Technology."
Hiro nods, after months of training and developing her powers, it is time to put them to good use. "Game On" she commanded the get thrusters behind her back to activate and she took off. Hinansho is about to have its own superhero in the house. From this day forward, nothing will be the same again. |

It's a scenario that you'd normally see within a superhero genre. A group of terrorist are holding innocent patrons of the museum hostage; the terrorist are dressed in covert operative gear as they overtook the area. One of the terrorist holds a group of school children by gunpoint at the main exhibit where The World's First Hovercar is being stationed.
"The evils of technology has polluted this planet for far too long! We shall bring the earth back to it's former glory by eradicating the virus that is poisoning it! Anyone who has enabled such atrocity gets zero tolerance." It's ringleader, dressed in a black suit, wearing a Yokai Mask declared.

It's a scenario that you'd normally see within a superhero genre. A group of terrorist are holding innocent patrons of the museum hostage; the terrorist are dressed in covert operative gear as they overtook the area. One of the terrorist holds a group of school children by gunpoint at the main exhibit where The World's First Hovercar is being stationed. "The evils of technology has polluted this planet for far too long! We shall bring the earth back to it's former glory by eradicating the virus that is poisoning it! Anyone who has enabled such atrocity gets zero tolerance." It's ringleader, dressed in a black suit, wearing a Yokai Mask declared. One of the terrorist radioed him through his earpiece, "The roof has been occupied, sir. There were only two security personnel but I've managed to disable them" "Take them out of commission permanently" The Yokai commented as he sets the briefcase down then proceeds to activate the bomb within it. "Rodger that" The operative said On the roof the operative kept his gun trained at the two security officers. One of them had clutched his arm from the gunshot that the operative gave him while the other has an ugly gash on his four head. "You don't have to do this, it's not too late to do the right thing" The older officer with the head injury pleaded with the terrorist "Nothing personal, just following orders" He said coldly as he took aim. The older officer shields himself before the younger security officer. After a few tense moments the older officer looked back to see that the rifle the terrorist carried had been broken in two and the terrorist restrained via sleeper hold by an armor clad hero. "I'm going to skip the Why Are You Doing This? part. I've heard your boss's BS through audio feedback. Where are the hostages?" Hiro asked "Th-The main exhibit. It's meaningless for the law officials to do anything as the whole city block will go up in smoke" The operative gasped out as he struggled but Hiro's grip never faultered "He's not lying. From my scanners you've got no less than ten seconds to save the hostages" Aria said "Thanks for the tip slimeball" Hiro tightens the hold till the operative passes out. He looked over the officers. "We'll manage, just rescue the hostages" The older officer encourage "Make sure he's restrained" And with that Hiro proceeds to kick some terrorist ass |

Seriously, I needed some classic good natured heroism after watching Killing Bites. The fights are cool but there's just too much...bleh if you know what I mean. Shame considering the potential it had. ANYWAY! Guardian to the rescue! Going to bring light and justice to her beloved city and inspire generations of heroes to come! And give one of her best friends a reason to hope again. |

Chapter I Ten Seconds To Judgement Time10
A terrorist was patrolling the entrance to the main exhibit. He was caught off guard as Hiro zips before him and delivers a series of rapid chops to the arms a flurry of punches to the stomach and chest. She delivers a devastating German suplex that knocked him out.

Bursting into the scene in a dynamic entry fashion Hiro knocks out one Terrorist with a roundhouse kick then another with a brutal knee kick to the face. His movements were so fast that the terrorist barely had any time to react to who was doing the attacks before going to sleep.

Providing a couple of terrorist with a spear that was able to knock the wind out of them.

Clotheslined one that was standing next to the ringleader then gage a spinning lariat to the other. Both of them nearly took the terrorist duo off their boots.

Hiro grabbed the briefcase and took off with it

Cursing to himself the Yokai drew out his machine gun.

Hiro flies in the air and throws the briefcase hard enough for it to leave the earth's atmosphere. No really.

The Yokai pointed his machine gun at the hostages

Ever heard of the phrase, faster than a speeding bullet, well once Hiro sees this: "Shield" Aria summoned a oval shaped light shield and he speeds in front of the hostages. Blocking every machine gun fire in 100% accuracy. Glaring at the leader he positioned the final bullet to wing the Yokai ringleader.

The leader howled as he drops his gun. Then gasped in pain as Hiro punches him in the stomach. "Who are you?" "The Guardian of this city" Hiro responds and finished off the leader with a powerbomb to the floor.
Just as the city's Guardian quickly restrains the leader and his men the bomb went off. From the distance it almost sounds like a firecracker going off. As he stood up he faced the people that the terrorist held captive and did a series of poses.
"Fear not citizens! Those vile terrorist has been thwarted! By none other than. Guardian, The Guardian of Hinansho! Trademark!" Guardian proclaimed with one final pose.

Guardian barely had time to finish her declaration before one of the hostages lunged at her and wrapped her arms around the armored hero. "OHMYGODTHANKYOU!THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOOOOOUUUUUUUUWWWWWUUUUU! I was so scaaared and I don't know why I have such bad luuuuuck! But thank you Superhero you made it all betteeeeeerrr!" (Err...wait I second...I think I recognize her!) Guardian looked down at the sobbing civilian currently currently crying all over her armor. It was Otsuka! Wow. Hiro hadn't seen her since Suko's place closed down. Of all the people to run into here. Crying was certainly not a natural look on her. She was always so focused on acting sweet and happy and cutesy that seeing her cry like this was downright heart wrenching. Hiro knew exactly what to do. She crouched down on one knee and gently hugged her. "Sssshhh. Ssshhh. It's okay. It's alright. There you go. Let it all out. You're safe now. You're all safe now. Those losers won't ever hurt anyone again." |

"The poses will catch on. If it's cool for the awesome henshin heroes then it's cool enough for me." Guardian said, it has been a few minutes since the rescue yet she can still feel the blood rushing through her veins. "I so need to let out the rush that I'm feeling"
"Well you do have a P.E. class that you need to get to. In T-Minus 3 minutes"
"Crap-Socks! Ok Aria, Mach 5!"
"Right-O!" and the suit took off, flying about just as fast as a speeder jet.

Chapter II A Friend In Need Chidori Chinatsu was currently in the ladies locker room bathroom with her eyes closed as she stood over the sink. Both of her hands were clutching the sides of the sink and the water was pouring down endlessly. "I-I'm okay. I'm okay. I'm okay. I-I'm okay. I-I'll be fine. I just...I just need to go out there. It's fine. It's just sports. It's just gym. Just go out there. Participate. At least...participate. Get the credit for the day. That's all you have to do...it'll be fine. Just do that. Just do that much." She ran her hands in the water and splashed it in her face a few times before finally turning it off and shaking her head back and forth. "I'm fine...I can do this. It's just class. I can handle that much." It is a mantra she had been building up, anything that helps get her one good foot forward. It's a miracle she even managed to find the strength to get out of bed. A miracle in the form of her Dragon Kai comrades, despite the lengthy break she took for herself it never stopped checking in on there Martial Arts Nakama(especially Hawk and Hiro.) She walked out of the bathroom and peered around the corner. She looked left and then right. Everything was fine. She closed her eyes and swallowed and stepped around the corner and walked towards the door to the gym. Her feet felt heavy like they were tied down with balls and chains. She was slow like she was trying to crawl through molasses. Her eyes kept darting left and right half-expecting Her to leap out from around the corner at any minute or from behind! Her breath caught in her throat and she turned around. No one was there with her. There was silence. There wasn't anyone outside of the locker room either. It was just her. Alone, vulnerable and trembling like a scared little rabbit. She squeezed her eyes shut and took a series of deep breaths while backing away towards the door one step at a time before suddenly turning back around and running for the door like a bat out of hell. She banged open the door and ran into the gymnasium and slammed it shut behind her. "I'm...I'm...here." She quietly told the coach. "Present." |
