5 Things You Need To Know About Vampires By Carmella Quan Sun "To anyone who has been blissfully unaware, vampires are real. And they walk among you. It is unknown just when the vampires roam the earth all that is certain is the creatures of the night have blended into human society and lived many secret lives. It wasn't till some time in the 80s when Darius made himself known to the human public. Sure there were your share of skeptics and there were those cautious to the reveal but, thanks to the respective guilds manipulation of media it wasn't long till the humans managed to embrace us.
And now the vampire society has become a public knowledge. Despite this you still have some dangerous vampires out there and there are five things you must be aware of so that you won't be used as a late night snack.
1. Not All Vampires Burn In The Sun: There are many different kinds of vampires and for some sunlight has a different effect on them. Some burn in the sun while it mostly just weakens them and leaves them vulnerable for an attack.
2. Vampires Aren't Tragic Romantics: That's just BS vampires would spew to bring mortals to a false sense of security. We don't constantly whine about our vampirism or try to kill ourselves to be rid of it. Because our roommate inside our head wouldn't let us if we wanted to. Speaking of
3. Every Vampire Has An Inner Demon: No matter which species of vampire they usually have an Inner Demon that dwells within them. You must do what you can to keep it satisfied. If you don't the end results won't be pleasing for you.
4. Vampires Are Dangerous Predators: Sure we can be affable but at the end of the day you shouldn't keep your guard down on even the nicest ones. One day their predatory instincts will kick in.

Vampires are definitely dangerous as all hell. Never forget you're talking to a monster with a demon whispering in their soul 24/7/365, some for centuries, with a natural bloodlust. You know the Devil On Your Shoulder idea? That's the Inner Demon. Except they're wrapped around your soul whispering to you and influencing you and in some cases potentially mind screwing you or causing hallucinations. Inner Demons are nasty and you kinda have to make peace with them and find a common ground or they can destroy you. Oh Vampires love to pull that card but they're either trolling or lulling you into a false sense of security before they kill you in any number of ways available to them. It all comes around to the power and species of the vampire. After all, Dracula wasn't originally killed by Sunlight either. Just weakened. Furthermore, there is something important to discuss here. Vampires are strong and fast as Hell. They hit like bricks and they move like speedsters and several of them have some nasty superpowers available to them, depending on their age and training. |

The inhuman features of the cultists hidden by their blood red robes which was covered in demonic symbols. The only thing you could see of the cultists were the glowing red eyes beneath their hoods. "Any idea what they're saying?" Sammy asked Ramona. She rubbed the back of her head. "It's an old tongue. Cyoucbotano I think. But the translation is a little rough. It's not a language meant for human tongues. Possessing a human corpse will make it a little easier but the point still stands." The vampiress shrugged. "Anyway, they're basically chanting the phrases of their lord and savior D'uirv'vhax." "Cosmic Horror?" "Cosmic Horror." "Huh. You know, it's funny. I figured you would be into that." Sammy joked. "Now, now, just because I'm into giving and receiving pain in equal measure does not mean that I necessarily worship Eldritch Horrors. I'm into Pain. Not them. Besides, I like you guys too much and an Edlritch Horror Apocalypse would result in my beloved Verlobter dying horrifically and I have way too many plans for him to allow that." (Yet) "...You know, I don't think you've mentioned this fiancé of yours." Sammy pointed out. "Oh don't worry. You'll meet him soon. But first! We have a world to save." They walked right up the gate and kicked it hard enough to blow apart the heavy iron gate into dozens of pieces that flew across the courtyard like so much shrapnel! The gate shrapnel scattered across the courtyard and flew into the cultists shattering their bones and tearing and cutting into their flesh! Ramona laughed at their surprise shock and agony. "Oh my! I knew there was something I liked about you, Sammy! We're going to get along just fine out here!" Ramona clapped her on the back and ran headfirst into the coming brawl while the demon-infested corpses were getting back up and she tore one demon's head off, threw it down to the ground hard enough to splatter it and then she flung the corpse at another demon hard enough to dismember it while breaking the demon corpse it impacted against. The dismembered limbs flying through the air and impaling other demons in various parts of their bodies. Next she blitzed a pair of them and punched its head off before grabbing the next one and impaling him through his heart and then swiping her arm upwards cleaving his body in half. Spraying her with the corpse's blood. She snarled and began blitzing the rest and tearing them apart before they could properly mount a defense.  Sammy sighed. "Really now. Is there a need for such brutality Ramona? Try having a little class. For instance. By Lenem! By Radiant Ortae! I Evoke The Skygate Of Xyter!" She called out in a speedcast. Magical sigils appeared in the sky and came together. Lightning promptly rained down from the center of it. The volts reached the ground instantly and began flash frying the cultists around the courtyard while Ramona darted in between the bolts and continued slaughtering any of them that weren't being blasted.  As contrasting as their personalities were, so were their choices of dress. Ramona was wearing a fancy tuxedo pantsuit and best girl Sammy was wearing a leather outfit similar to Carmella's but more casual. Black leather jeans and a long sleeved black leather shirt with the top buttons undone to expose the magical sigils on her skin. She is wearing a short leather jacket over this. Her outfit is black but decorated with magical symbols. Ramona's hair is kept short while Sammy lets her long beautiful hair flow in the breeze. |

She is wearing a long sleeved black dress that covers her from the neck down to above her ankles. She is wearing a white maid apron over the dress that covers her front and back. This is topped off by the maid bonnet she wears on her head. She is wearing fancy jeweled black high heels on her feet and milky white socks. She has a deadpan expression on her face as she casually walks towards the demon men.  Sensing the danger she represented they rushed her en masse! Loreto only broke her stride when the closest of them lunged at her and she side stepped it and ripped his arm off with one hand and then she plunged her other arm into his side, grabbed his ribs and ripped them out of his body amidst a gushing geyser of blood! Loreto then spread the ribs out and flung them into the skulls of three oncoming monsters before gripping the arm and throwing it through the air like a spear where it drilled into the chest of another one of them! The fight had only just started and she had already eliminated five of them without batting an eye. The bloodstained maid calmly walked into the oncoming horde fully prepared to eliminate the rest and make her way inside. |

"Honestly though, you'd think they'd get a clue and cut it out with the zerg rush you know on account of the fact that they keep butchering everyone but they just keep pouring out like an ant colony." They watched the massacre. "So how high do you think they'll stack the bodies?" "As entertaining as all of this is..." Carmella reached up and caught a severed that Ramona had hit into the air. "That's way too many walking corpses to just be coming out of the high-rise. I think they're coming up from the underground." Carmella crushed the skull in her hand like it was an egg causing blood and gore to splatter around her hand. "In other words if we want to put an end to this and get inside we'll cut the horde off at the source. "I'm going around to back up Loreto. Upon seeing the carnage, Samantha Mab Blackwell, closed her eyes (Ok, time to do your thing.) then proceeds to remove one of her gloves. In the center of her hand a mouth is formed. It doesn't resemble anything human or animalistic for that matter. It is an unnatural force that it's host has managed to summon for the purpose of feasting on the remains of the cultist who has fallen before her. Gradually the cultist are sucked into the void. A creature with an endless apatite consumed the cultist that was sacrificed to it. Once finished it smiled, pleased at the offering before it summoned back to where it came from. With an empty gaze Sam silently puts her glove back on. Having finished her portion of the mission, Ramona turned her attention towards Sammy and witnessed the events that unfold. If there's a soundtrack, a Bob Marley song would be playing.
