Note: Timeline wise this take place around the same time as The Hawk of Dragon Kai. I'd say after the events of the first volume to be exact.

Ava enters the room where the attack took place. Opting to make her presence unseen, she may as well be a ghost witnessing the events taking place. She sees Ken consoling Rin then looked at the unmovable body of Eiji. Ava closed her eyes, she can still sense his aura. Despite the circumstances he has a strong spirit, part of her would've kissed him for that. She opened her eyes and her cold gaze is at the body formerly known as Johnny 88. (I wish I could bring you back to life so I could kill you myself)
She called out to Ichika (Hey. It's me. No matter what she say, don't let Ama inside)
Remembering that the corpse is still fresh that means its soul hasn't fully crossed over yet. "There's more than one way to avenge what has been done." She cast a final look at Ken. "you're one of the good ones. Glad I got to know you."
Ichika sees her leave the house, realizing that nobody has noticed her she deduced that Ava has went full Masquerade Mode. There are also a couple of things she took note. The fact that Ama hasn't noticed her yet. And the look on Ava's eyes. She wouldn't even consider it a look of anger. Anger implies that theres emotion behind it and what is worse than that? Nothing. There's literally no emotion behind her face. And no sense of divine intervention would save you should you be the source that caused that expression. She's used to her friends level of sociopathy but this was enough to send chills down her spine. "Ava?"
"Look after them Priestess. I'm going to take care of something" Ava responds without stopping.
(Uh...uhm...listen...I'm not used to telepathy like you are, but, as a Priestess, religiously speaking, I'm not sure if I can really condone someone's soul being shredded apart. Even a wicked one like the madman who did this. I ask that you see that his soul is guided towards the hands of Death to be judged in the afterlife and sent to Hell.)
(Look after them Harime.) Ava repeated in a coldblooded manner that made Ichika shudder.
(Phoenix Avalon. Please. I ask this of you. If at all possible, please, do this by the book.)

(If there is no way to take him quietly then you may shred his soul if it is to defend yourself and others. Besides, wouldn't you agree that leaving him to face eternal torment in Hell would be better than non-existence?)
(That is an honest question and while I would love to debate it with you, I have hunting to do. But I will keep your words in mind, Ichika Harime, on account of our friendship.)

Forget everything you know the supernatural world exist. Regardless of what you may assume from the movies it is dangerous and unpredictable: Ava knows this, her sister Izzy knows this, and the Priestist knows this.
Ava run the rooftops, a lost soul has escaped its mortal coil and is roaming the streets. Time is of the essence as if she doesn’t stop Johnny his spirit will continue to kill again.
