tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome-Just because you're a powerful magic user doesn't mean you're capable of waltzing into a vampire council uninvited and provides you free reign to insult the representatives involved. Because there is nothing to stop them from ripping you to shreds right then and there. And if you're Carmella you don't even have to be just as powerful as the Elders to kill a powerful magic user, you just need timing and a good enough weapon to do the job. tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/VillainProtagonist-Eh if you ask most of them they're above such common labels and they're usually polite as long as you provide the same courtesy. Carmella is the closest that qualifies as a genuinely good vampire. Count Varney: "BAH! I fancy myself as a Anti-Villain at best!" tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/OurVampiresAreDifferent-The various clans of vampires represent the different aspects of vampires from all kinds of mythology. For instance the Battosais are vampires who'd feed from lifeforce more so than natural blood. Count Varney's clan represents a more amped up variation of the classic Stoker vampires. The Red Dragons are an homage to the Castlevania vampires.

The Red Dragons are an homage to the Castlevania vampires. Mathias is definitely more along the lines of traditional vampires as well! Caesar meanwhile seems to be leaning more along the lines of the Vampire Mafia or at least Modern Business Vampires. Seriously. You'd think he'd at least go in there with shields or wards but he just waltzed right in without a plan. It should come off as no surprise then when Carmella just blitzes him before he gets a chance to do anything. tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DeaderThanDead-Not only is the Mage flat out decapitated by Carmella, but Loreto further desecrates his corpse by absorbing all of the blood in his body, causing it to shrivel up and deflate, then they toss his corpse into the Umbra to be devoured by the darkness and his head is being set up to be mounted on a pike. Although this promptly drops into black comedy with Loreto casually dropping his severed head into a to-go bag to carry home and sitting down like nothing happened. tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/NinjaMaid-Loreto and Morgaine both fall into this trope with the added spice of being vampires on top of it! Basically, take Roberta the Terminator Maid from Black Lagoon and make her into a Vampire. That's these two.

Well Dracula would torture you for awhile before he'd kill you but still Oh I'm sure Loreto will come up with something for that. Very cool! To be honest his death was downright merciful compared to all of the horrible things they could've done to him!

tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/PsychopathicManchild-Womanchild in this case but Countess Priscilla Burattinaio counts in a somewhat zig-zaggy way. She's mature, well mannered, polite and respectful despite carrying around a doll everywhere she goes. The crazy parts are relegated to her dollies, specifically the leaders who contain different alter personalities from her mind. What little we've seen from Priscilla's home showcases it as having dolls everywhere and she's seen playing with and talking to a stuffed bear. She's also a centuries old vampire elder on top of all this. Priscilla's an enigma alright. tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CreepyDoll-Lady Goosebumps, the wedding bride doll that serves as Priscilla's right hand is on the more blatantly crazier side compared to Priscilla. The fact that she was created through unknown dark magic methods and can house Priscilla's inner demon makes it even crazier! Karl even internally calls her a psycho doll. tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BeenThereShapedHistory-Priscilla mentioned tutoring Victor Frankenstein in whatever form of twisted science he used to create the Adam Creature. She even uses the proper terminology of Victor being an undergraduate student, as the novel never confirms he actually got his doctorate or even any sort of degree. tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MadScientist-Suggested with Priscilla that she used dark magic and science to create her doll and animatronic friends on top of being smart enough to teach at a college level in the past.
