As the kids were conversing with one another, Shoto hears a familiar voice and looked at the direction where the flat screen TV is hanged up. <"Salutations everyone, hope everyone is having a good time today"> Sweet Mask addresses the auditorium filled with fans squeeing at the sight of the idol singer as he greeted them on stage.
"WE LOVE YOU SWEET MASK!"
Bakugou glanced at Mineta who's just as fangirlish as the female fans in the audience. "Just calm down"
What he found interesting is Shoto, who looked at the idol singer the same way Deku would look at All Might whenever he's on TV.
<"The feeling is mutual! If you folks don't mind I'd like to sing this song, that goes out, to a fellow superhero who operates in the United States. Who just had a birthday today, so this goes to Omni-Man. Happy Birthday, you ruggedly handsome bastard!">
I leaned back on my radio
Some cat was layin' down some rock n roll, lotta soul, he said
Then the loud sound did seem to fade
Came back like a slow voice on a wave of phase
That weren't no DJ
That was hazy cosmic jive
There's a starman
Waiting in the sky
He'd like to come and meet us
But he thinks he'd blow our minds
There's a starman
Waiting in the sky
He's told us not to blow it
'Cause he knows it's all worthwhile
I had to phone someone
So I picked on you
Hey, that's far out so you heard him too
Switch on the tv, we may pick him up on channel two
Look out your window, I can see his light
If we can sparkle he may land tonight
Don't tell your poppa or he'll get us locked up in fright
There's a starman
Waiting in the sky
He'd like to come and meet us
But he thinks he'd blow our minds
There's a starman
Waiting in the sky
He's told us not to blow it
'Cause he knows it's all worthwhile
Author's Note: Now this version of Sweet Mask's backstory is completely different than canon. Because, not a fan
For now his backstory is a bit of a mystery.
