Out In The Darkness Of Space Surrounded By The Stars Shining Lights And Keeping A Watchful Eye On Planet Earth Floated The SS Romulus Stargazer. This small ship is shaped vaguely like a dark dragon with spoilers and wings and is in good condition. The interior has a dark atmosphere with the interior design resembling a mechanical metal steel gothic cathedral and has an eerie unnatural feel to it. The halls of the ship are patrolled by C'Zhalni Soldiers. The C'Zhalni Soldiers are Mass Produced Hooded Footsoldiers Of The Daraveola-ain Empire Clad In Grey And Red Cechointine Armor. Attached to the belts around their waists are twin guns and twin gun holsters housing High-Frequency Thermal-Elctron Blasters. They have artificial eyes installed on their chests which send all the information they see back to the ship's computers in real time. Their faces are covered by the hoods of course but also a mask worn underneath which is further covered up by another mask with red metallic tubing that keeps them supplied with Nyxyxistic Gas. This not only made them functionally immune to pain but also served to keep their bodies in check and made them easier to control. Their are more tubes on their wrists gauntlets which provides them with more of the drugs. Their eyes are covered by glowing cybernetic implants that shine eerily underneath their hoods. Their names, roughly translated into Earth English, was The Terrorfiers.  A tall humanoid alien sits in his chair of command in front of a series of holo-graphic showing the Champion Operator Series Red fighting their forces on Earth and others showing Keiji going through his average everyday life. The alien commander is clad in a black armor from his neck down and he is wearing a larger black armor over that. What is exposed of his alien self resembles a light green bald alien skull. His sunken dark blue eyes glow with a sinister light and his mouth is full of teeth like tombstones. The head is covered in scars but it only makes him look more sinister. The fingers of his Vostrian Armor tap against his face as he observes the Hero who'd been causing them so much trouble and his usual sneer turned into a maniacal smile as he realized that their plan was working just fine. The Hero was faltering now and he was wearing down.  Captain Deamonne Temernirs's invasion of Earth had hit a snag when they discovered an Earthling utilizing The Ancient Klatets's Champion Gem to operate a Strengthening Suit but fortunately as none of the others had appeared yet then he could safely assume that the others were indeed destroyed in the battle on Zebreter so even their single ship would be more than enough to handle the hero. He'd put up a valiant effort but their constant attacks had worn even him down. Now was the time to finish it. If their attack today didn't end him, The Slayer they were preparing would finish the job. The giant alien captain stood up and waved the holo-videos away and folded his arms behind his back. "Enjoy what little time you have left to live, boy, for they are finally running out." He looked the window down to Earth. "Once you're dead I will take great pleasure in slaughtering the rest of your pathetic, stubborn, annoying little planet and making them kneel at the feet of our Empire." His quiet, scratchy, raspy voice has an authoritative businesslike tone to it that is dripping with sadism and cruelty, as if he is just barely keeping that side of himself restrained. "Now then. Odoralvak!" A holo-screen appeared in front of him and showed him the laboratory of Doctor Odoralvak Ba'ettihop on the ship. Doctor Odoralvak Ba'ettihop is a Vuliran Alien from Gamma Ketidian. He is unusually tall and covered in his labcoat. A white bodysuit with some black highlights on it covered by another labcoat on top of it with blue lights and mechanical parts inside of him that glow with a blue light. His face is covered by his labcoat revealing a green craggly humanoid face with a lizard-esque look to it. His right eye is covered by a mechanical glowing eyepatch. There are mechanical parts around his neck including a speaker for him to talk through.  The scientist turned away from his work to greet The Captain. "Why hello sir. How does this fine day find you?" "Well we haven't killed the interloper yet but other than that I am doing well." He admitted. Odoralvak's assistant, Nurse Naanozrieh Tacganzulu, a Cataela from Khaniman Wontan, bounded into view at the sound of their Captain's voice and purred at the sight of him. She is a blue skinned white haired catlike alien with a large bust. She is wearing a blackbodysuit and a short sleeved white nurse's outfit on top of it. Her tail is covered in the same black armored bodysuit as the rest of her body and resembles a scorpion's tail. There is red cybernetic attachments on the side of her head and attached to her shoulders. "Heeeey Captain! You're looking downright sinister today."  "Compliments appreciated Naanozrieh. How is your work on The Champion Slayer coming along?" "Sir! We're close. It's 95% complete." "Continue working on it then. We cannot rush our work on those. Besides, today's fight should prove more than adequate to either finish him off or at the very least provide the final piece of data on him that The Slayer will need." Captain Deamonne informed them. "Prepare The War Dog." Doctor Odoralvak stepped forward. "Sir! I don't mean to question your orders but are you sure about this? The War Dog is a violent berserker. Is it really necessary to send it against one worn down child?" "This child has been a thorn in our side for long enough. The War Dog will finish him. Besides, even if it doesn't, if by some miracle he wins, the data we gather from the fight will be provided for The Champion Slayer. Once it has all of his combat data it will obliterate him." "How fiendoushly diabolical of you, Captain! We'll get to work right away! Come along Nurse!" "Yes sir!" She replied. "Say, Captain, what do you say we get married after this?" "Kill the kid first and then we'll talk." He offered. "Deal!" She eagerly ran off to complete their Monster alongside The Doctor as The Captain closed the conversation. |

He is clad in regal looking silver and gold armor with black armor on his armor with gold linining on them. His legs are clad in regal looking cloths that cover his leg armor. His head is covered by a dragon=looking helmet with a black facemask. A mane of silver hair pokes out of his helmet and flows down his back. His feet are covered by black boots. He is lost in thought as he muses on his last fight with the Earth-boy. A fight that nearly cost him his life.  ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ BACK THEN! The leaves crunched under his feet and a twig snapped in his wake. It didn't matter. Keiji wanted him to know he was coming. He found the clearing where Carnage Drake was waiting for him and relaxing on a rock while he waited. The two of them stared each other down. "I don't see any footsoldiers. Finally fighting me yourself, Carnage?" Keiji asked him. Carnage Drake stood up and turned to face him. "Keiji Tenorio of Earth. You have proven yourself to be a considerable thorn in our side but also a valiant warrior. Out of respect for your obnoxious and stubborn will I have come to Earth myself this time to challenge you to a duel. To satisfy my bloodlust and my respect for your prodigious abilities I will slay you today." Keiji chuckled. "Awww see? You can be polite when you try." He smirked and waved his hands down past his waist and the Champion Belt appeared around his waist in a flash of light. Keiji then crossed his arms in an X-Shape before spreading them out again and raising them up in a V-Pose. "CHAMPION RED BIO-BOOST!"
Instantaneously a red grid pattern surrounded his body and scanned his physical form and the clothes he was wearing before billions of microscopic robots energized by the gem exited the belt and surrounded Keiji's body to create the physical manifestation of the interdimensional energy source in the form of a particlized self-assembling nano-fiber suit formed with intercellular shape memory space alloys: The Klatet Gem Powered Champion Red Bio-Suit! With a bright red costume with silver and red lines on the side of the arms and legs, silver boots, silver gloves, a golden red communicator around his wrist, the silver belt around his waist taking on a more armored militaristic appearance, a gun holster with the Champion Defender Gun-Sword inside appearing on the belt, a tactical red and silver Champion Vest forged from Improved Champion Fiber Metal, a sword on his back, a red scarf around his neck, a red helmet with a dark facemask appearing around his head. To add to the disguise of the user the suits increase musculature, height and provide a metallic-reverb to the user's voice. Steam rose off of the suit as Keiji took his proper stance and got ready to face off with the alien warrior.   "Alright then. Lets dance." |

Champion Red unsheathed his sword hilt from his back and activated it. "Champion Power-Sword Activate!" The sword hilt glowed with energy and the weapon activated to turn itself into a full on sword. The full blade growing out of the guard and shining with brilliant red energy.  Carnage Drake unsheathed his own sword, DragonSoul, from its sheathe and gripped it. DragonSoul is a long golden katana with intricate green markings on it. There are dragon blades alongside the bottom of the sword and a dragon head at the end of the hilt.  The two warriors began circling around each other. Both of them keeping their weapons at the ready in case the other one made a move first until Carnage motioned for him to bring it. Champion Red rushed him and slashed downwards with his sword but Carnage Drake sidestepped to dodge it only for Champion Red to stop halfway down and slash at him again but Carnage Drake simply blocked it with his own sword and pushed his out of the way and slashed at him again but this time Champion Red flipped over his slash and then slashed at his head but Carnage Drake dodged his attack and slashed him only for Champion Red to parry his slash with his own sword and they began clashing. Champion Red twisted his body and sword in a flowing fashion to deliver multiple blows on him only for Carnage Drake to counter each attack! An attack aimed at his right shoulder was knocked away. The attack at his left shoulder was countered. The attacked aimed at his left side was countered. The attack on his right side was countered. Champion Red pivoted and slashed at the back of his head but Carnage Drake countered that with DragonSoul as well. Undeterred Keiji kept up the pressure, swinging and bending his blade in a winding motion that allowed him to attack and defend with his sword while targeting different angles while twisting and winding his body around to attack with multiple slashes that Carnage Drake continued to parry and counter with his sword. With his flowing movements effectively countered Champion Red broke off the attack for a moment before lunging forward again and slashing at his head with a downward strike which Carnage Drake countered and deflected. A slash at his right shoulder was countered. The slash at the right's arm's center was countered. A slash at his wrist was countered. An upward slash at his groin was countered. A slash at his left wrist was countered. A slash at his left arm's center was countered. A slash at his left shoulder was deflected. The seeming final attack, a thrust at his chest, was blocked by Carnage Drake's sword and knocked upwards! While Keiji appeared to be knocked back at first in truth he was putting his arm behind his back, dropping the sword, catching it with his other hand and going for another stab that finally made contact just as Carnage Drake slashed DragonSoul across Keiji's armored vest. A spray of sparks burst from his armor but the sword still made contact with Carnage Drake earning a small shower of sparks out of the affected area. They backed away from each other and readied their blades again. "You've improved since last time." Carnage Drake complimented him. "So have you. I see you've been working on your defense." Keiji noted. "I have been through extensive training since our last duel but it seems I still have more to learn." He noted while placing a hand on the damaged spot on his armor. "I commend you, Keiji Tenorio of Earth, not many warriors are able to leave a mark on me. Let alone survive more than one fight against me. I am going to enjoy our duel today." "I appreciate the compliments but I have to ask you something. For all of your talk of honor you're still working with that Alien Empire who are attacking people who have done nothing to them. I know you're aware of the pain you guys have been causing to the people of Earth but have you ever considered the pain you put Ximiemt through?!" He snapped at him. "Ahhh the Stridriedian Refugee who's been aiding you, correct? I am not blind, Keiji Tenorio, but I have my loyalties. Even before my augmentations I was a loyal soldier to our glorious Daraveola-ain Empire. I live by the sword and swore loyalty to the throne since I was old enough to speak. The augmentations I undertook after my body was grievously injured in battle did not change that. I have a warrior's honor but my unwavering loyalty to the throne comes first. Any action my superiors order, no matter how cruel, I will carry out to the letter." He pointed his sword at Keiji. "You chose to sign up for your part in this war as well, correct? So you should understand." "I can't approve of your Empire or the things they've done, there's no way in hell I can ever approve of hurting the innocent, but I can understand your reasoning. Even if your bosses are a bunch of jackasses. In that case, after I defeat you guys I'll just have to take out the rest of your Empire." "Keiji, you are one Earthling and one Stridriedian child. You've been having this much trouble with one ship's worth of resources. Our Empire spans the stars." "Challenge Accepted. Now lets get back to business." |

Carnage Drake sat alone in his quarters in the ship cross legged on his bed with his sword in his hands. He is clad in regal looking silver and gold armor with black armor on his armor with gold linining on them. His legs are clad in regal looking cloths that cover his leg armor. His head is covered by a dragon=looking helmet with a black facemask. A mane of silver hair pokes out of his helmet and flows down his back. His feet are covered by black boots. He is lost in thought as he muses on his last fight with the Earth-boy. A fight that nearly cost him his life. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ BACK THEN! The leaves crunched under his feet and a twig snapped in his wake. It didn't matter. Keiji wanted him to know he was coming. He found the clearing where Carnage Drake was waiting for him and relaxing on a rock while he waited. The two of them stared each other down. "I don't see any footsoldiers. Finally fighting me yourself, Carnage?" Keiji asked him. Carnage Drake stood up and turned to face him. "Keiji Tenorio of Earth. You have proven yourself to be a considerable thorn in our side but also a valiant warrior. Out of respect for your obnoxious and stubborn will I have come to Earth myself this time to challenge you to a duel. To satisfy my bloodlust and my respect for your prodigious abilities I will slay you today." Keiji chuckled. "Awww see? You can be polite when you try." He smirked and waved his hands down past his waist and the Champion Belt appeared around his waist in a flash of light. Keiji then crossed his arms in an X-Shape before spreading them out again and raising them up in a V-Pose. "CHAMPION RED BIO-BOOST!"
Instantaneously a red grid pattern surrounded his body and scanned his physical form and the clothes he was wearing before billions of microscopic robots energized by the gem exited the belt and surrounded Keiji's body to create the physical manifestation of the interdimensional energy source in the form of a particlized self-assembling nano-fiber suit formed with intercellular shape memory space alloys: The Klatet Gem Powered Champion Red Bio-Suit! With a bright red costume with silver and red lines on the side of the arms and legs, silver boots, silver gloves, a golden red communicator around his wrist, the silver belt around his waist taking on a more armored militaristic appearance, a gun holster with the Champion Defender Gun-Sword inside appearing on the belt, a tactical red and silver Champion Vest forged from Improved Champion Fiber Metal, a sword on his back, a red scarf around his neck, a red helmet with a dark facemask appearing around his head. To add to the disguise of the user the suits increase musculature, height and provide a metallic-reverb to the user's voice. Steam rose off of the suit as Keiji took his proper stance and got ready to face off with the alien warrior. "Alright then. Lets dance." Champion Red unsheathed his sword hilt from his back and activated it. "Champion Power-Sword Activate!" The sword hilt glowed with energy and the weapon activated to turn itself into a full on sword. The full blade growing out of the guard and shining with brilliant red energy. Carnage Drake unsheathed his own sword, DragonSoul, from its sheathe and gripped it. DragonSoul is a long golden katana with intricate green markings on it. There are dragon blades alongside the bottom of the sword and a dragon head at the end of the hilt. The two warriors began circling around each other. Both of them keeping their weapons at the ready in case the other one made a move first until Carnage motioned for him to bring it. Champion Red rushed him and slashed downwards with his sword but Carnage Drake sidestepped to dodge it only for Champion Red to stop halfway down and slash at him again but Carnage Drake simply blocked it with his own sword and pushed his out of the way and slashed at him again but this time Champion Red flipped over his slash and then slashed at his head but Carnage Drake dodged his attack and slashed him only for Champion Red to parry his slash with his own sword and they began clashing. Champion Red twisted his body and sword in a flowing fashion to deliver multiple blows on him only for Carnage Drake to counter each attack! An attack aimed at his right shoulder was knocked away. The attack at his left shoulder was countered. The attacked aimed at his left side was countered. The attack on his right side was countered. Champion Red pivoted and slashed at the back of his head but Carnage Drake countered that with DragonSoul as well. Undeterred Keiji kept up the pressure, swinging and bending his blade in a winding motion that allowed him to attack and defend with his sword while targeting different angles while twisting and winding his body around to attack with multiple slashes that Carnage Drake continued to parry and counter with his sword. With his flowing movements effectively countered Champion Red broke off the attack for a moment before lunging forward again and slashing at his head with a downward strike which Carnage Drake countered and deflected. A slash at his right shoulder was countered. The slash at the right's arm's center was countered. A slash at his wrist was countered. An upward slash at his groin was countered. A slash at his left wrist was countered. A slash at his left arm's center was countered. A slash at his left shoulder was deflected. The seeming final attack, a thrust at his chest, was blocked by Carnage Drake's sword and knocked upwards! While Keiji appeared to be knocked back at first in truth he was putting his arm behind his back, dropping the sword, catching it with his other hand and going for another stab that finally made contact just as Carnage Drake slashed DragonSoul across Keiji's armored vest. A spray of sparks burst from his armor but the sword still made contact with Carnage Drake earning a small shower of sparks out of the affected area. They backed away from each other and readied their blades again. "You've improved since last time." Carnage Drake complimented him. "So have you. I see you've been working on your defense." Keiji noted. "I have been through extensive training since our last duel but it seems I still have more to learn." He noted while placing a hand on the damaged spot on his armor. "I commend you, Keiji Tenorio of Earth, not many warriors are able to leave a mark on me. Let alone survive more than one fight against me. I am going to enjoy our duel today." "I appreciate the compliments but I have to ask you something. For all of your talk of honor you're still working with that Alien Empire who are attacking people who have done nothing to them. I know you're aware of the pain you guys have been causing to the people of Earth but have you ever considered the pain you put Ximiemt through?!" He snapped at him. "Ahhh the Stridriedian Refugee who's been aiding you, correct? I am not blind, Keiji Tenorio, but I have my loyalties. Even before my augmentations I was a loyal soldier to our glorious Daraveola-ain Empire. I live by the sword and swore loyalty to the throne since I was old enough to speak. The augmentations I undertook after my body was grievously injured in battle did not change that. I have a warrior's honor but my unwavering loyalty to the throne comes first. Any action my superiors order, no matter how cruel, I will carry out to the letter." He pointed his sword at Keiji. "You chose to sign up for your part in this war as well, correct? So you should understand." "I can't approve of your Empire or the things they've done, there's no way in hell I can ever approve of hurting the innocent, but I can understand your reasoning. Even if your bosses are a bunch of jackasses. In that case, after I defeat you guys I'll just have to take out the rest of your Empire." "Keiji, you are one Earthling and one Stridriedian child. You've been having this much trouble with one ship's worth of resources. Our Empire spans the stars." "Challenge Accepted. Now lets get back to business." Drake quickly closed the distance between them and slashed with his sword but Keiji dodged it and then he stepped in and continued slashing at him. He slashed downwards with an angular slash that Keiji deflected and then he slashed upwards with the sword, forming a V shape with the slashes, and Keiji dodged that one as well, then Drake slashed to the left and then back to the right. Keiji dodged both slashes and then attempted to counter but he countered and parried both slashes. Both of their swords were moving fast enough to be blurs of speed as they clashed with each other and sent off air bursts around them on impact. After an exchange of blows they backed away from each other for but a moment and then they charged each other once more! Their swords clashed again before Drake forced Keiji's sword down and tried to slash at his head but Keiji dodged it and tried for another sword thrust attack but Drake stopped it with his sword and slashed at him again forcing Keiji to back away from him but Drake wouldn't give him an inch! He pressed the attack and slashed at Keiji forcing him to parry and counter his sword strikes with his own until Drake stepped in and slashed down at him with an overhead slash and Keiji had to block it with his blade. Their swords clanged together and sent out another air burst shockwave that blew away the leaves and dust and air around them! Keiji held on however as his scarf blew in the violent wind that resulted from their clashing swords and he managed to force his sword away and then attacked him again but Drake skillfully countered his attacks with Keiji to get anything past his defense. Drake soon went for a sword thrust which Keiji sidestepped and he ran his blade alongside Drake's hoping to lead it up to his head but Drake saw this coming and raised his arm up to force Keiji's sword away from him. Keiji spun away from him and then countered a few slashes. They continued clashing with each other for another exchange until Keiji went for his legs but Drake flipped over his sword and slashed at him. Keiji dodged it and their fight continued. Keiji continued trying to slash at him but Drake deflected each attack aside and countered with his own. Their blurring blades clashed with each other and cut through the air as they battled it out and maneuvered around each other each trying to find an opening against each other until Drake stopped his sword, turned and elbowed Keiji repeatedly in the chest and helmet to force him backwards and then he took advantage of the opening to turn right back around and swing Dragonsoul up his body, causing an energy shockwave to travel up his body as he did so, and then he punched him away so hard he caused a visible energy ripples on impact that would have been visible from several feet away! The ripples continued to travel outward and grew smaller as Keiji was flung away from Drake like he was being propelled by a rocket! His suit was sparking and smoking from the slash that left small flames flickering on his suit from the point of impact the whole time! Keiji wasn't done yet however and he managed to turn this around and flipped in the air and he landed on his feet, skidded backwards several more feet and then he jabbed his sword into the ground to slow himself down. He flexed and the flames blew out from an energy wave. He then jumped towards a tree on the right as Drake tried to bring his sword down on Keiji's head. Instead the sword cut through the air and then smashed into the ground and cut right through it. Keiji meanwhile bounced off of the tree and flew back over to him and kicked the villain across his helmet! Drake turned his head from the impact and it sent him sliding forward before he stopped and then he placed his sword behind his back to block Keiji's slash and their battle resumed. Drake attacked him an overhead slash but Keiji dodged it and then he slashed upwards at him and Keiji had to dodge him again and go on the defensive to counter his sword slashes with his own. They continued to counter their attacks back and forth until he was able to dodge around him, slip his sword and then he got in close and drove his sword into his chest! He laughed it off however even as he was forced backwards. Keiji then went for another charging sword thrust only for the alien warrior to counter with a slash across his legs that knocked him off of his feet! Keiji rolled with the impact though and got back to his feet and deflected his sword, leaped back and charged him again. Drake readied himself though and skillfully countered his attacks. A slash aimed at his neck was countered, a downwards slash was countered, an upwards slash was countered, a sword thrust was stopped and he was forced backwards, he recovered and attacked him and rushed him again with a single concentrated slash that he deflected and then Keiji added in a spinning slash at him that Drake knocked away, but Keiji recovered and attacked him with multiple slashes in a focused deadly flurry of slashes but Drake countered and shut down each and every one until he deflected one hard enough to make him spin around only for Keiji to kick him backwards and then he lunged forward and slashed down at him! Sparks and smoke flew out of his armor as Keiji slashed his sword down his armor! Drake yelled out in surprise as he was forced back from the attack but Keiji wasn't done yet. He rushed him and unleashed a series of circular rising slashes in a flowing motion from multiple directions, all of them slashing around and across his armor rapidly, and then he finished it with another powerful downward slash! The force of his sword exploded against him and Carnage Drake was thrown backwards through the air flying away! Keiji still wasn't done however and he recovered, braced himself, and raced towards him! He quickly caught up with the villain and unleashed another barrage of slashes from all directions but Drake recovered in time and brought up Dragonsoul and resumed clashing with Keiji to counter his powerful sword slashes, knocking aside each one until their swords clanged together again in the end and Keiji was thrown backwards until he landed against a tree and caught onto it while Drake was thrown down to the ground to dig a trench through the ground with his feet until he stopped and took a breather. He rested a hand on his armor and laughed. "Yesss....yesss....that's it. That's the way! Keep it coming, Keiji! Show me your power!" "Gladly!" Keiji called out from above him where he was coming down on the villain with his sword aimed downwards. Drake laughed some more and dodged it by leaping backwards and upwards at an angle! Keiji threw up a large chunk of soil on impact but he missed him and kept attacking and rushed him as Drake was falling back down, sliding past him, and then he got back up on his feet again and charged him again, deflected his sword and swung his sword at the back of his neck and caught him with it and sent him flying forwards! Drake flew forward into a large boulder and broke it apart into rubble on impact! "Magnificent." Drake replied and he sat back up and rubbed the back of his neck. "Such splendid swordsmanship. I haven't fought like this in years!" He stood back up squared off with Keiji again. "Finally. For the first time in forever I can stop holding back and show you what I can really do!" A dark red aura began swirling around him. "Keiji of Earth. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Brace yourself. You're about to experience my true power!" |

"Okay. We'll consider it brought." He quipped and stood back up, readied his sword and rushed him again. Keiji flipped into the air and brought his sword down in a falling motion aimed to slash down at his helmet but Drake once again deflected his attack aside and slashed him away! Keiji hit the ground and skidded backwards a few feet but remained on his feet. He rushed in again and went for an upward slash aimed at his jaw from below aided bu Keiji applying force to the back of the blade with his free hand and a powerful jump upwards but he simply dodged it and slashed Keiji repeatedly before throwing him backwards. Keiji recovered and attacked again by springing forward with a full on horizontal spin attack with his sword out in an attempt to drill into him but once again Drake evaded his attack and slashed him away! Keiji hit the ground and rolled across it until he was able to grab the ground and dig his fingers into it to stop himself and get back up. He attacked again with an attempted flurry of slashes but everytime he tried to go for one Drake would dodge it, deflect his sword and counter him! His attacks were deflected aside again and again while Drake continued to pound him and slash at his suit without Keiji able to do anything in response! After enduring a series of repeated slashes Keiji was thrown away by him and crashed into a tree and fell to the ground again his suit smoking and steaming. "Come on now. That isn't all you've got is it? I've done you the honor of showing you my true skills and you're already collapsing? That isn't what I want. Get back up Keiji! Stand tall once more and show me what you can really do! You wouldn't have lasted this long if you were this easy to defeat." "Heh...I appreciate the compliments. I'll have to return the favor, Drake." He replied and got back up and grabbed his sword again. "Guess I'll try a new style then." "Go ahead and show me." Keiji took a moment to calm down and catch his breath and then he attacked him again with a high-powered vertical slash but Drake deflected it aside and slashed him again. Keiji recovered and attacked again by spinning his body horizontally and delivering a series of slashes at him but once again Drake countered them and slashed at him. Keiji countered with his own but Drake's sword evaded him and slashed him again! Keiji backflipped into the air to try and deliver an upended sword slash at him but Drake evaded again and slammed him to the ground. Keiji hit the ground hard but rolled away, recovered and rushed him again with a spiralling spinning series of slashes but Drake countered and deflected each one before kicking his leg out and sending him flying with a slash! Keiji hit the ground hard, jumped back up to his feet and rushed him once more with a pair of sword slashes that formed an X but Drake deflected each one and knocked him back again. Undeterred, Keiji recovered and attacked him again this time putting on another series of fast and powerful sword attacks but Drake just. kept. shutting. him. down. Every one of his attacks was countered and shut down while Drake slashed him freely! He was making Keiji look like a damn amateur! A low-ended strike from the left was countered and he was slashed. The armor pieces plummeted to the ground and smashed into it so hard the ground shook and they became embedded in the ground which cracked and broke around them! "....Oh." "WHOOOOHOOOOOO!" Keiji cried out as his suit glowed bright red and steam rose up from around his body! A red swirling pattern of energy coated his arms, legs and much of his torso before settling into the design of wispy ends of flames, giving them the appearances of tattoos, and a pair of wing like patterns appeared on the back of his suit. "YEEEAAAH BABY! Oh man that feels better! Those tons of weight just slowed you down so much you know?" He chuckled. "You know I've only taken those off in training? And they just kept getting heavier each time I got used to them. Feels so good to finally get them off in a real fight!" Keiji hopped up and down while loosening himself up. Drake quickly closed the distance between them and slashed with his sword but Keiji dodged it and then he stepped in and continued slashing at him. He slashed downwards with an angular slash that Keiji deflected and then he slashed upwards with the sword, forming a V shape with the slashes, and Keiji dodged that one as well, then Drake slashed to the left and then back to the right. Keiji dodged both slashes and then attempted to counter but he countered and parried both slashes. Both of their swords were moving fast enough to be blurs of speed as they clashed with each other and sent off air bursts around them on impact. After an exchange of blows they backed away from each other for but a moment and then they charged each other once more! Their swords clashed again before Drake forced Keiji's sword down and tried to slash at his head but Keiji dodged it and tried for another sword thrust attack but Drake stopped it with his sword and slashed at him again forcing Keiji to back away from him but Drake wouldn't give him an inch! He pressed the attack and slashed at Keiji forcing him to parry and counter his sword strikes with his own until Drake stepped in and slashed down at him with an overhead slash and Keiji had to block it with his blade. Their swords clanged together and sent out another air burst shockwave that blew away the leaves and dust and air around them! Keiji held on however as his scarf blew in the violent wind that resulted from their clashing swords and he managed to force his sword away and then attacked him again but Drake skillfully countered his attacks with Keiji to get anything past his defense. Drake soon went for a sword thrust which Keiji sidestepped and he ran his blade alongside Drake's hoping to lead it up to his head but Drake saw this coming and raised his arm up to force Keiji's sword away from him. Keiji spun away from him and then countered a few slashes. They continued clashing with each other for another exchange until Keiji went for his legs but Drake flipped over his sword and slashed at him. Keiji dodged it and their fight continued. Keiji continued trying to slash at him but Drake deflected each attack aside and countered with his own. Their blurring blades clashed with each other and cut through the air as they battled it out and maneuvered around each other each trying to find an opening against each other until Drake stopped his sword, turned and elbowed Keiji repeatedly in the chest and helmet to force him backwards and then he took advantage of the opening to turn right back around and swing Dragonsoul up his body, causing an energy shockwave to travel up his body as he did so, and then he punched him away so hard he caused a visible energy ripples on impact that would have been visible from several feet away! The ripples continued to travel outward and grew smaller as Keiji was flung away from Drake like he was being propelled by a rocket! His suit was sparking and smoking from the slash that left small flames flickering on his suit from the point of impact the whole time! Keiji wasn't done yet however and he managed to turn this around and flipped in the air and he landed on his feet, skidded backwards several more feet and then he jabbed his sword into the ground to slow himself down. He flexed and the flames blew out from an energy wave. He then jumped towards a tree on the right as Drake tried to bring his sword down on Keiji's head. Instead the sword cut through the air and then smashed into the ground and cut right through it. Keiji meanwhile bounced off of the tree and flew back over to him and kicked the villain across his helmet! Drake turned his head from the impact and it sent him sliding forward before he stopped and then he placed his sword behind his back to block Keiji's slash and their battle resumed. Drake attacked him an overhead slash but Keiji dodged it and then he slashed upwards at him and Keiji had to dodge him again and go on the defensive to counter his sword slashes with his own. They continued to counter their attacks back and forth until he was able to dodge around him, slip his sword and then he got in close and drove his sword into his chest! He laughed it off however even as he was forced backwards. Keiji then went for another charging sword thrust only for the alien warrior to counter with a slash across his legs that knocked him off of his feet! Keiji rolled with the impact though and got back to his feet and deflected his sword, leaped back and charged him again. Drake readied himself though and skillfully countered his attacks. A slash aimed at his neck was countered, a downwards slash was countered, an upwards slash was countered, a sword thrust was stopped and he was forced backwards, he recovered and attacked him and rushed him again with a single concentrated slash that he deflected and then Keiji added in a spinning slash at him that Drake knocked away, but Keiji recovered and attacked him with multiple slashes in a focused deadly flurry of slashes but Drake countered and shut down each and every one until he deflected one hard enough to make him spin around only for Keiji to kick him backwards and then he lunged forward and slashed down at him! Sparks and smoke flew out of his armor as Keiji slashed his sword down his armor! Drake yelled out in surprise as he was forced back from the attack but Keiji wasn't done yet. He rushed him and unleashed a series of circular rising slashes in a flowing motion from multiple directions, all of them slashing around and across his armor rapidly, and then he finished it with another powerful downward slash! The force of his sword exploded against him and Carnage Drake was thrown backwards through the air flying away! Keiji still wasn't done however and he recovered, braced himself, and raced towards him! He quickly caught up with the villain and unleashed another barrage of slashes from all directions but Drake recovered in time and brought up Dragonsoul and resumed clashing with Keiji to counter his powerful sword slashes, knocking aside each one until their swords clanged together again in the end and Keiji was thrown backwards until he landed against a tree and caught onto it while Drake was thrown down to the ground to dig a trench through the ground with his feet until he stopped and took a breather. He rested a hand on his armor and laughed. "Yesss....yesss....that's it. That's the way! Keep it coming, Keiji! Show me your power!" "Gladly!" Keiji called out from above him where he was coming down on the villain with his sword aimed downwards. Drake laughed some more and dodged it by leaping backwards and upwards at an angle! Keiji threw up a large chunk of soil on impact but he missed him and kept attacking and rushed him as Drake was falling back down, sliding past him, and then he got back up on his feet again and charged him again, deflected his sword and swung his sword at the back of his neck and caught him with it and sent him flying forwards! Drake flew forward into a large boulder and broke it apart into rubble on impact! "Magnificent." Drake replied and he sat back up and rubbed the back of his neck. "Such splendid swordsmanship. I haven't fought like this in years!" He stood back up squared off with Keiji again. "Finally. For the first time in forever I can stop holding back and show you what I can really do!" A dark red aura began swirling around him. "Keiji of Earth. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Brace yourself. You're about to experience my true power!" "Bring it on!" Keiji declared and rushed him. He tried for another slash only for Drake to skillfully deflect it aside and slash Keiji across his armor! As Keiji was forced back Drake pressed his attack and delivered a rapid series of slashes to his suit that threw up sparks from the impacts and culminated in a power slash that sent him flying backwards until he crashed against a tree, slammed into and dropped to the ground. "Okay. We'll consider it brought." He quipped and stood back up, readied his sword and rushed him again. Keiji flipped into the air and brought his sword down in a falling motion aimed to slash down at his helmet but Drake once again deflected his attack aside and slashed him away! Keiji hit the ground and skidded backwards a few feet but remained on his feet. He rushed in again and went for an upward slash aimed at his jaw from below aided bu Keiji applying force to the back of the blade with his free hand and a powerful jump upwards but he simply dodged it and slashed Keiji repeatedly before throwing him backwards. Keiji recovered and attacked again by springing forward with a full on horizontal spin attack with his sword out in an attempt to drill into him but once again Drake evaded his attack and slashed him away! Keiji hit the ground and rolled across it until he was able to grab the ground and dig his fingers into it to stop himself and get back up. He attacked again with an attempted flurry of slashes but everytime he tried to go for one Drake would dodge it, deflect his sword and counter him! His attacks were deflected aside again and again while Drake continued to pound him and slash at his suit without Keiji able to do anything in response! After enduring a series of repeated slashes Keiji was thrown away by him and crashed into a tree and fell to the ground again his suit smoking and steaming. "Come on now. That isn't all you've got is it? I've done you the honor of showing you my true skills and you're already collapsing? That isn't what I want. Get back up Keiji! Stand tall once more and show me what you can really do! You wouldn't have lasted this long if you were this easy to defeat." "Heh...I appreciate the compliments. I'll have to return the favor, Drake." He replied and got back up and grabbed his sword again. "Guess I'll try a new style then." "Go ahead and show me." Keiji took a moment to calm down and catch his breath and then he attacked him again with a high-powered vertical slash but Drake deflected it aside and slashed him again. Keiji recovered and attacked again by spinning his body horizontally and delivering a series of slashes at him but once again Drake countered them and slashed at him. Keiji countered with his own but Drake's sword evaded him and slashed him again! Keiji backflipped into the air to try and deliver an upended sword slash at him but Drake evaded again and slammed him to the ground. Keiji hit the ground hard but rolled away, recovered and rushed him again with a spiralling spinning series of slashes but Drake countered and deflected each one before kicking his leg out and sending him flying with a slash! Keiji burst through the sound barrier, tearing up the ground beneath his feet and causing a shockwave that disrupted the forest around him, and quickly closed the distance between them at blinding speeds and began slashing continuously in a horizontal cyclonic pattern! While Drake was able to counter Keiji's attacks with ease a moment ago he was only able to block one or two of the slashes before being overwhelmed by the storm of slashes! Keiji's sword slashed around his body and a rain of sparks sprayed out of his armor! Drake was very quickly thrown backwards by the onslaught but Keiji wasn't done yet! He continued rushing him and unleashed a series of vertical slashes on him that crashed against his armor and smashed him to the ground! Keiji then swiftly knocked him up into the air and unleashed a whirlwind of slashes above him towards the alien commander that continued slashing him and forced him up further! Keiji then performed a superhuman leap into the air above him and raised his sword above his head and brought it down on him while placing his palm on the other side of his sword to add additional force to the slash as it crashed down on his shoulder and slammed him to the ground below! Drake smashed into the ground into a small crater. Keiji landed a short distance away from him and pointed his sword at Drake. "How's that?" Drake grabbed his sword and dragged himself back up to his feet. "...Fantastically overwhelming speed. I didn't anticipate....your speed increasing this much. I'm impressed, Keiji of Earth." He took a few steps back and regained his composure and drew his other sword and braced himself. "I knew from the start...you would be a worthy Rival to me and you've exceeded my expectations. Despite Drake using two swords to Keiji's one it still wasn't enough to overcome the current speed differential and Keiji struck first! His sword shined with a brilliant red light while red energy crackled around it! "LIGHTNING THRUST!" He called out and thrust his blade into Drake's chest armor! Sparks and bolts of electricity erupted from the point of impact and the villain was forced backwards! He skidded backwards several feet from the point of impact but Keiji wasn't done with him yet! He chased after him and flipped forward and brought his sword down across the front of Drake's armor resulting in a shower of sparks and then immediately followed it up with a rising uppercut slash that launched him into the air! Keiji leaped into the air after him, repeatedly slashing him with his sword in a blur of speed before finally slashing him down and sending him crashing to the Earth below once more! Keiji landed in front of him and readied his sword. Carnage Drake managed to stand once more and slashed at Keiji with the sword in his right arm but Keiji dodged backwards in a blur of speed and then he rushed him down again! He slashed at him with his sword but Drake brought up his sword to block it so Keiji simply adjusted his aim and slashed his chest. Drake recoiled but counterattacked with his swords but Keiji simply doddged his slashes and evaded around him until he switched it up and deflected his slashes and counterattacked him and began repeatedly slashing him around his armor and across his torso and then he kicked him away! Drake was launched several feet away into the air and then Keiji raced after him, got ahead of him, raced past him, ran back to him and kicked him in the back and sent him flying forward, raced past him again, leaped into the air and he began repeatedly slashing him in mid-air again while following him in the air! Drake was able to deflect a couple of his slashes but he couldn't keep up with Keiji's speed or get an attack back in! Keiji repeatedly slashed away at Drake with a barrage of high speed slashes until they landed back down on the ground and then Keiji surrounded his fist with bright red flashing energy and punched Drake in the helmet and launched him backwards through the air with an explosion of force! Drake was once more launched through the air like a ragdoll until he crashed back down on the ground. "Th-this...this...isn't...over!" He growled and pulled himself to his feet while Keiji walked towards him with his sword glowing with energy once more. Drake crossed his swords in an X-shape and surrounded them with red hot orange flames that quickly took the forms of whirling spinning fiery tornadoes that surrounded his swords! He waved his swords and then readied himself. "This ends here, Keiji of Earth! DRAKE TORNADO! FIERY BLASTING SLASH!" He called out and slashed the air with his swords to release the two flaming tornadoes that quickly crashed into each other to create a much fire tornado coming tight for him! "I won't back down! I'll show you real power! CHAMPION SLASH WHIRLING AIR!" Keiji called out and utilized his super speed to whirl around in a spinning tornado of speed before releasing his attack in a series of rapid rising slashes! The spinning slashes of energy crashed into the giant flaming tornado and caused it to explode in a fireball! "WHAT?! GAAAAAHHHH!" Drake exclaimed in shock before being blasted back by the explosion which sent him soaring across the forest until he finally landed on a giant rock hard enough to break it apart. "Im-im...possible....he...actually defeated it....only one...has done such a feat before. Keiji of Earth...you are truly exceptional!" Drake exclaimed and dragged himself back up again. "But...that explosion was massive....surely even you were..." "Guess again!" "WHAT?!" Drake turned around to see Keiji relaxing on a bench. "Don't tell me you forgot I had a working teleporter." Despite everything though Drake couldn't help but chuckle. "Truly...exceptional." He opened his hands and his sword flew to them. "Come." "For what it's worth Drake you're a worthy opponent too." He powered up his sword again and readied himself. "Ultimate Move: Champion Slash Festival!" The Red Ranger rushed him down and unleashed a dazzling series of shining glowing blurring fantastic slashes all over Drake's body! Champion Slash Festival was an attack that was clearly intended to slash his opponent into ribbons and it was certainly working with sparks and energy and electricity shooting off of Drake all over as Keiji's slashes only got faster and faster and faster! Speedblitzing Drake with his lightning fast sword repeatedly until he finally finished by tensing and utilizing all of the power in his upper body, bringing both arms backwards and then thrusting with the one holding his sword directly into Drake's armor to pierce into and THROUGH it and out of his back! Drake was sent backwards like he was being propelled by a rocket until he finally hit the ground, bounced off of hit, rolled across the ground and slid away while digging a trench with his body. Keiji sighed and powered down to rest. He took a momentary breathe before he walked over to Drake who was currently laying on the ground with his suit smoking and smoldering from the damage he'd taken. "It was a good fight, Carnage." "Yes....it was...thank you." "I guess the least I can do for you is to stay with you in your last moments. Is there anything you'd like to say?" "I..." Before Drake could get his words out a series of shuriken flew into Keiji's back and exploded on impact! "GAAAAHHH!" Keiji called out as he was blasted to the ground. A blur of speed zipped past him and landed between him and Drake. Keiji lifted his head up to see the armor clad Space Kunoichi Spectreia looking down on him. "That...was dirty." "It's your own fault for letting your guard down, human, but luckily for you I'm only here for Drake." She pointed her sword at his helmet. "Rest assured though, humie, I will come for your head one day."  Keiji sat up while fearlessly staring her down the entire time. Clearly waiting for her to make the next move. "Spectreia...no...this...was our battle..." "And it has concluded. Sorry dear but orders supersede your honor." She backed off of Keiji and crouched down to hold Drake's hand while still keeping her focus on Keiji. "I'm ready. Teleport us back to the ship and make sure that the infirmary is prepped!" "N-no...this...this was our..." Drake insisted weakly before they were teleported back to the ship while a horde of Terrofiers were teleported down to the battlefield to finish off Keiji! He stood up and readied his sword. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Drake sighed. He'd spent what had to have been days being repaired and treated in the infirmary after the battle. He'd LOST that battle. Keiji had him dead to rights and was fully capable of ending his life until Spectreia interfered. Now here he was, alive once more, and completely repaired and upgraded from the battle but still carrying the psychological scars of his defeat. He went over the battle again and again in his head on a loop but he couldn't find a way to counter Keiji's speed advantage in a straight up fight. He was stronger now but he knew it wouldn't be enough. The Red Ranger was getting stronger everyday. He needed to train himself. His cybernetic augmentations could only take him so far. It was time to prepare himself for battle properly. |
