Anna couldn't help but turn her head and laugh over Pepper's picture perfect timing. "I always do and I always will." Tony assured her. |

Anna had just sat next to Bruce, she titled her head slightly at the interaction then looked at Bruce who gave Anna a look that reads 'It's complicated' .
Anna nods then glanced at the book he's reading. "Any good?"
"I'd recommend it" Bruce smiled.
Natasha's phone buzzed. She picked it up and sees a text message from Yelena, displaying a picture of Yelena with her arm around Clarissa doing a gun pointing gesture. with a message on the bottom that read. "Got you"

It was a slow process but the kid had been making remakrable progress. While her brother had been placed in the foster system the team had kept tabs on him and he'd been doing alright for himself now that he was far away from his abominable parents. If Battle Beast is as dangerous as he is then we might need The Seven involved in this" Tony grimaced. Steph isn't wrong and the team needs ever advantage they can. Yet he finds The Seven, with some exceptions, questionable. As heroes they can be on the ball but- "I see your reasoning but they're Wildcards. How do we know their particular, character traits, won't jeopardize this mission" "Look around Tony. I mean, we didn't get to where we are without being Wildcards ourselves" "Sometimes I hate it when you make sense, Rodge" "That is why I'm the leader. He wasn't the biggest fan of Homelander and The 7 but if this Battle Beast was going to be another intergalactic threat then they would need all the firepower they could get. Certainly having some of their biggest guns on hand would be better than not having them at all. "Alright, you've convinced me." Tony relented. "Lets get in touch with them and inform them of the plan. We'll have Battle Cat brought to Homelander, A-Train and Maeve and then they'll be sent to the other dimension with Hulk to fight him there. Starlight, The Deep, Noir and Translucent will join the attack force on Machine Head's building." Tony informed the team of the strategy. "We'll have the biggest guns on The Seven joining the fight with the Cat and the rest teaming up to attack Machine Head. He'll never know what hit him." Stephanie punched a fist into her hand. "Couldn't have planned it better myself. In fact, why not make their entrance flashy? Thor!" She turned to point at him. "Starlight can enhance her powers by absorbing more electricity through her hands. You thinking what I'm thinking?" Thor grinned. "That I shall supercharge her with divine electricity? Yes. Yes I am very much onboard with this plan." "We'll pass out eye protection for the heroes on our team in preparation." Natasha added in. "Machine Head's Villains literally won't see what's coming!" "Hell if she can damage Battle Cat's eyesight that'll make things even easier for the team." Hawkeye added. |

"That won't be necessary Miss Chase. If you have a strategy that you'd like to add then by all means we'd like to hear" Tony commented
Anna cleared her throat as she stood up. "Well, Mr.Stark. Bringing Battle Beast towards any member of The Seven is a good strategy. The question is who should be the one to do it? So the idea I have in mind is I join Invincible and Eve to infiltrate Machine Head's HQ. Once Battle Beast makes his presence known. I'll provide him the opportunity he won't resist. Look at it like this. If it were any of you or The Seven he'd still be intrigued but that would put Machine Head on high alert because he's aware of what you guys are capable of. With me still a little new in the hero game, not so much."
(Ah the classic Honey Pot strategy. Didn't know you're capable of such tactic) Natasha smiled, impressed by Anna's strategy

Anna stepped forward and raised her hand. "That's a good idea. Provide him with a tempting target and lead him into the trap. I like it." Steph complimented. "Is everyone else on board with this?" "It will be risky but if we can lead their biggest gun on a wild goose chase out of the tower into our trap first and then warp in our own forces after Battle Beast is safely ensnared in the other dimension that will be our best chance." Natasha reasoned. "I have no complaints about this plan but I do recommend one last addition to the team." Clint chimed in again. "Someone with the firepower to back up both teams at once." "Rogue." Anna smiled knowingly. "Bingo. She can back you guys up in the fight with Battle Cat and keep an eye on the situation at Machine Head's HQ." He informed the team. "Plus, I'm pretty sure she has size changing abilities somewhere in that arsenal of hers, right? She could hide on Anna during the chase. If something goes wrong she can jump out, return to her top size and tag-team him with Anna." "Right out of Wasp's Playbook." Anna laughed. |

After the mission briefing is concluded the team breaks off to prepare for their mission in their own way. Natasha sent a Heart Emoji towards her daughter then texted Yelena to keep her safe in Russian.
Clint excused himself to call his wife, a little family communication before the big battle.
Stephanie prepares for her meeting with The Seven, she instructed Thor to give them a dossier of the impending threat they're going to face. Thor uttered a silent prayer that the heroes have a hearty victory in their battle as he does so.
Anna made a mental note to fill Mark and Nolan on the mission briefing but not before she leaned forward and affectionately wrap her arms around Bruce from behind. "It's going to be OK"
"I know" Bruce reached up and held her hand, caressing it with his thumb. "If it gets too intense, there's no shame in running away"
"Would you?"
Bruce chuckled, "Not like The Big Guy would give me a choice. Honestly, I'd be there for the team"
"Same here" Anna leaned and rest her the side of her head against Bruce's.

That's how seriously they're taking it Not to mention taking the freetime before the fight happens to extensively strategize not just how to get him off of Earth to another dimension their big guns can fight him freely but to come up with a roster of their own big guns to fight him. You really buy the Avengers as Veteran Superheroes.  |

I mean, I'm scared but we get stronger through each battle right?" "I'd like to join you Steph but since everyone is spending their few moments with family. Loki smiled and tapped her staff twice and the empty void changed into The Asgardian Throne Room and they touched down on the floor gently. Rogue applauded Loki's entrance. "Whel ay'll give ya this here much Lokey, ya always go the extra mahl when setting up ayy psionik a-meetin'. Ta what do ah owe the pleasure ov y'all's visit?" Loki got up off of the throne and twirled her staff while she approached them. "Straight to business that's what I like about you, Rogue. To be perfectly honest everyone I am here to tell you all about a super-villain team that we're about to fight with. Complete with a Cosmic Monster named Battle Beast." Loki snapped her fingers and a giant whiteboard appeared behind her and information about the attack plan began writing itself on the whiteboard while Loki explained the plan to everyone. |
