Suko Chifumi: The Monster Of Hinansho

Chidori didn't just open the door. She pushed it open and walked in with all of the confidence of the Badass Martial Arts Queen she was! With all the swagger of Al Capone and all the balls, metaphorically speaking in her case, of a stone cold gangster. She projected such an aura of confidence that everyone on the first floor of the restaurant took notice of her entrance as she strolled up to the front desk.

"Hello, hello, welcome to our fine establishment! What can we do for you?" Otsuka Maru greeted them. She was a young lady with the air and beauty of a J-Pop Idol.

"Hello, hello, Miss Otsuka, correct?"

"That's me! Miss Otsuka the Adorable! Here to greet all our beloved guests and help you find your way to our heavenly delights! I love you!" she winked and made a V-Sign over her eye. "Cutesy!"



"Yeah, you're definitely one of Amaya's friends." She smirked. "Do you really not recognize me just because I got dressed up? I'm finally starting to understand Superman now."

"Huh? I'm sorry ma'am, but have we met?"

"It's me you goofball! Chidori Chinatsu! Here for the job interview!" She laughed.

"WHAAAA?" She leaned forward and looked her up and down. "Ch-Ch-Chidori? Are you serious? I don't even recognize you!"

Chidori pointed at Hiro. "This little angel here helped my parents and I pick out a proper interview outfit and prepare mentally for this day."

"I'm just here for support but thank you, Chi-Bird."

"Okay. Wow. You look amazing. Talk about cleaning up nicely. Wow, wow this is blowing my mind. Ha. I'll ring you in. Miss Suko is going to love you." She pressed a button and called it in. "Hello Miss Suko! Your interviewee Miss Chidori is here!"

An Angelic sounding voice replied to them from the other end. "Wonderful! That's wonderful! Please, send her right up!"

"Of course ma'am. Right away." She hung up and waved to another woman in a maid outfit. "Suou? Could you escort Chidori to the boss's office!"

Suou Oriana bowed her head and happily walked up to the table while another maid approached Hiro and lead her to a table.

Hiro and Chidori clasped hands before they parted ways. "You've got this, Chi-Bird."

"You know I do."

They parted ways and Suou lead Chidori to and up the stairs.

"Wow. There's a lot of maids here, huh?"

"We like to promote a culture of comfort and happiness in our business and what better way to do that than with a Maid Restaurant? It goes well with the High Class Dining experiences we offer. It won't be a problem will it?"

"Not at all. I'm ready for anything."

"Great! Glad to hear it. We're always happy to get a new girl on the team! Don't worry, we'll be sure to train you in the art of cutesy!" She laughed and made a heart symbol with her hands.

"Heh. Peace of cake."

"Ohhh we'll see. Just so you know, there's no fighting here, Chidori. Any disagreements are to be resolved peacefully unless the customer gets violent with you first. Understand?"

"Of course. I can handle that. To be honest, my parents will definitely prefer that for me. And my friends. And my teachers." (And the police.)

"You really are a firecracker, aren't you?"

"I'm the demon dragon after all."

They continued to make small talk in a mini-interview until she lead her up to the fourth floor and the office. Suou Oriana knocked on the fancy looking double doors. "Miss Suko? I've brought her here for the interview!"

"Excellently done, Oriana! Please, send her right in. I've been waiting all day for this."

"Yes ma'am! You're up, Chidori! Good luck!" They high fived and Chidori grabbed the double doors and pulled them open and stepped into the office. It was luxurious! There was a fancy carpet, beautiful architecture, fancy artwork hanging on the walls, high-tech equipment, a gorgeous desk, a next level computer...it was like she stepped into a completely new world! This was far different than anything she was used to or had prepared for! The woman sitting in the middle of the room with her hands clasped gave her a gentle smile. A motherly smile. Motherly. That was the best way that Chidori could describe her. She was gorgeous! With her flawless complexion and exquisite knockout beauty she was a heavenly supermodel in all but name! Yet the expression on her face was...motherly. There was an air of kindness around her that lit up the room and put her at ease. Even with that business suit and the opulence Chidori now stood in it all faded away from her. She smiled and closed the doors behind her.

"Hello, Miss Suko. I'm here for the interview."

She brushed her flowing hair back and stood up to greet her. She extended a kind and welcoming hand towards her. "Hello, Miss Chidori. Welcome to our establishment."



She happily took her hand and they shook hands. "Please, take a seat."

Looking back on it, yeah, that was it. Just like that. That was when it all started. For both of us.

"Of course, of course. I know you'll do your best. Now." She opened up a drawer and handed her the contract. "I will need your parents or guardians signed permission before I can officially bring you on. You'll find all my contact information there and I can give you a card if you like. Feel free to take your time, reading it over, sign and fill out where necessary and then you can scan it back to me."

Chidori accepted the contract like it was a holy object and held it to her chest. "Thank you so much ma'am. This means a lot. I promise to give you over a hundred percent. I will be the best employee ever."

"I know you will. Thank you, Miss Chidori."

"You're welcome, Miss Suko."

They shook hands and she bowed and walked out practically skipping with the biggest smile on her face.


Hiro was enjoying a Lemonade at her table while she waited on her meal when a shadow fell on her. She looked up to see Chidori smiling and holding back tears of joy. "So? How'd it go?"

Chidori's answer was to dash around the table and hug her tight. "We did it! We did it!"

"You did it, Chi-Bird."

"We did it. Oh Kami, my parents are going to love this!" She laughed. "Oh thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!"

Hiro just laughed with her while hugging Chinatsu. This was a damn good day indeed.


She sat down at the table with Hiro grinning ear to ear while she went over the contract. "By the way...what did you order?"

"Cheese-Feathered Hanetsuki Gyōza." Hiro responded.

"That's a thing?"

"You bet! It's delicious. I'll share some with you if you'd like."

"Wow...sure! I'd love to try some!"

Oh dude I can only imagine how much a relief Guardian's presence must have been for Wakamura. Heck Hiro may have unknowingly saved Chidori from the brink of despair.

Junko: "FUCK YOU GUARDIAN!!!    "

"Could've been an old opponent with a grudge." Han suggested. "The only problem there is that they'd be impossible to track down without evidence and this sicko didn't leave a trace. And how was he able to get in and out of here without anybody seeing him? No, this feels more like an assassination. Somebody sent a paid killer in here to eliminate him before the next tournament."

"That's tempting but it feels too convenient. Like the killer wants us to think it was an assassination. Besides, you saw the body. This was too brutal and savage for a professional hit. There's also the matter of the body we found last week gutted like a fish and left in an ice bath. As far as we know neither of them had any contact with each other and nothing linking them together beyond the brutality of their deaths. If we correlate these with the murders a few months back, it would mean that the killings are random. Which means this guy is going to be a pain in the ass to catch until we can find evidence or nail down a motive."
