Tenjin Academy! Rose Briar knelt down next to her father's petrified body laid out on the table while the machines the laboratory scanned him. Her stylish bright pink dress flows from top to bottom and has a square neckline, which daintily reveals the fancy dress worn below it. The flowing, tightly tied fabric of her dress covers her stomach where the continuous flow is broken up by a dark leather belt worn high around her waist. Below the leather belt the dress opens up and reveals the dress below. The front of the top dress is longer than the bottom dress and curves outwards, the back continues to flow a long length behind her and ends in a broad rectangle. Her sleeves are very long and very wide, their flow is broken up below the elbow where they change color and where they're divided by slender, refined bands, these are the same fabric and color used to outline the sleeves of the dress. Her golden sunlight blonde hair was tied up in a short ponytail to keep it from getting in her way. The various machines other machines around the laboratory made a variety of noises while other machines swirled bizarre fluids in them. A symphony of bizarre and strange noises followed by a wide variety of lights illuminated the laboratory. She wasn't even going to begin to guess what anything in the laboratory did. All she knew was that they assured her it was all very expensive and that it did science things. Back in her day, Science was just those strange men with their beakers and bottles and swirling liquids. It was amazing how far it could advance in three hundred thirty-three years. 333 years. That made her around 348 years or so if her age before The Sleep was taken into account. Give or take a couple of years. Everything she knew was gone. Her family and people petrified. Her home an empty tomb surrounded by thorns. The townspeople had long since died or fled at some point in the past three hundred years. The remainder of their Kingdom had been conquered or pillaged and burned. Everything they knew was lost to them and now here she was, a stranger in a new world. A new Kingdom. Surrounded by strange and bizarre people who's customs she was still struggling to understand and about to enter into a Hunstmen Academy in the hope that it could maybe finally hopefully help her find the one who cursed them and bring her to justice. Above all else, saving her people was her top priority. Her sworn duty as the Crown Princess of the Briar Kingdom. "Oh fath'r. I misseth thee so. This new w'rld is so strange to me and th're is so much i still doth not und'rstand. W're t not f'r redriot's kindness and endless patience i feareth i wouldst has't gone nimble-footed. The present day i am going to attendeth tenjin academy's opening c'remony. I can only desire yond mine own training with redriot shall proveth sufficient to passeth their trials. Oh fath'r. I doth not knoweth if 't be true thee can heareth me, but prithee, i begeth thee, lendeth me thy pow'r. The strength of moth'r and yourself. I prayeth 'twill beest enow. This is the first stepeth of mine own journey but t just might beest the most vital. Rest assur'd fath'r, nay matt'r what happeneth to me, I shall not faileth thee. I shall moveth the heavens themselves if 't be true yond shall bringeth thee backeth to me." She gently held the stone hand of her father as she leaned forward and kissed his cheek and then she stood up and she held her hands together over her chest. "I shall not faileth. I shall not falt'r. Nay matt'r what stands in mine own way, I shall saveth thee all. On mine own hon'r as princess briar! Thee shall beest free to walketh the earth once again fath'r!" She turned around and walked away. "Prithee professeth'r taketh valorous careth of mine own family." "Don't worry, kiddo. They will be perfectly safe here. You just focus on taking it one day at a time." Professor Oakley Bestiary assured her. "Thanketh thee." She replied sincerely and found her way to the door. She was about to reach for a handle when it slid open on its own. "Th're is a thin line between science and s'rc'ry." She mused and walked up the stairs into the...elevenvator she believed it to be called, and waited for the guide to press the button. The elevenvator took them back up to the first floor and then a noise beeped as the door opened. (Tis a very thin line!) After she was guided back outside she bid him good day and she stepped outside where Redriot was waiting. A young lady with a long red ponytail whipping through the wind stood off to the side of the lab performing repeated sword swings. She is wearing a buttoned up crimson red shirt with a short long sleeved black jacket covering her arms. This is accompanied by a stylish belt and black leather pants and black and red boots. Her eyes are confident and dangerous. "Holla redriot. I am s'rry I madeth thee wait f'r so long." "Oh hey, Rose. Don't worry about it. It's not a problem at all." She sheathed her sword. "Are you ready to go?" "Yes. Let us begin our journey." The two friends shook their hands and began their walk to the Academy. It was a beautiful day outside! Birds were chirping, flowers were blooming, the sun was shining down on them, the wind was blowing gently and people around the kingdom were going about their Aura Training as they prepared for their daily routine. Aura Training was of course mandatory for everyone. Even if you aren't planning to become a Huntsman, Guard or Military, you are required to learn at least the basics of Aura Training in your school years. It might not make them into the Superhuman Huntsman, unless they seek out the specialized training, but it makes them much more likely for them to survive if shit hits the fan! Aura is an ability that all those with a soul can use, at least with enough practice. Because Aura is the manifestation of the soul, it can appear very differently depending on who is using it. For example, the color of Aura differs from person to person. Anything with a soul has an Aura, including Humans, Faunus, and trained animals. Skilled users of Aura can create their own barriers or even increase their own abilities in some way. Weapons and armor can also act as a conduit for Aura, allowing for an even wider range of offensive and defensive capabilities. This even applies to nontraditional "weapons", such as a loaf of bread or a leek if you know how to train it. It has been shown that the strength of an Aura degrades with continual use. This limits the applications of Aura in combat as, with time or heavy use, a person's Aura will decay to the point where they are left weakened or even incapacitated. Aura being completely depleted is visually represented as a colored sheen glowing along the length of a person's body or with colored particles flying off the body, indicating that they can now be physically injured. Aura flickering means it is close to being depleted. Aura can be recharged and the time it requires to recharge is varies between each person. Aura also can vary between individuals in terms of innate quantity of energy that can be used, with Pyrrha noting during the Beacon initiation that Jaune possesses an extraordinarily large reserve of Aura despite his complete lack of familiarity with the concept up until that point. Similarly, one's Aura regeneration rate is dependent on the individual, varying per person. One's Aura can be used to 'unlock' the Aura of someone else with the usage of an ancient incantation chant, though this does drain the aura of the user a little. "For it is in passing that we achieve immortality. Through this we become a paragon of virtue and glory to rise above all, infinite in distance and unbound by death. I release your soul and by my shoulder protect thee." Aura, as demonstrated by various characters, can be used in the following techniques. Defense, Offense, Healing, ESP, Climate Protection, Sensing Aura and Identifying Aura. The two continued their walk towards the Academy waving to passerby's on the street. "Heeey there Red! Ready for another day at the Academy?" A random passerby called to her. "You betcha! We're going to be teaching Rosey the ropes, Jose!" She called back to him with a wave. "Be sure to stop by our store later, Red!" A cat faunus called over to her. "We sure will, Kit!" "Best of luck to your training!" "Thanks Meridith!" She continued calling to and greeting the civilians they passed on the way while Rose just let her talk. "Wow. You really know everyone don't you?" "That's right. I made certain to memorize all of the townspeople I've met here. It makes them feel better if they know that we know them. By interacting with them regularly you can help put them at ease." She began pointing to random civilians they were passing by around them. "Chi Milone, Delmar Addis, Reggie Tharrington, Stewart Barrio, Britt Claxton, Ernesto Scrivner, Ronald Kochan, Monte Trimpe, Kip Client, Dillon Lindamood, Elnora Gibeault, Jeanette Malchow, Kimiko Quinn, Chastity Lam, Rachal Duren, Terra Karls, Maurita Kopecky, Leana Wain, Jenette Whitt...we have a lot of people in the Kingdom and these sweet people are just a few of them." "That's so impressive. You have an astonishing memory, Red!" "Thank you." "Alright! I won't lose! I'll be sure to memorize the names of and make friends with everyone here in the Kingdom!" Rose promised. "I don't have a Kingdom of my own anymore but that doesn't mean I cannot make new friends here! That will make it easier to help my people adjust to the new world when I finally discover a way to free them from their eternal prison!" "And we will. Together. No matter how long it takes, I promise that I will dedicate my life to helping you free your people." "You're so kind. If I didn't know better, I would mistake you for an Angel, Redriot." "A Crimson Angel Huntress, huh? I like that! I like that! I'm going to use that!" She laughed and patted her on the back. "First thing's first however. We need to get you into The Academy and start your education, aura training and combat training!" "Oooh! More Combat Training! That sounds like fun!" Rose beamed. "See? I knew you'd grow to love it!" Redriot grinned. "Sure it was a little painful..." "A little?" "Okay, painful, but you certainly learned didn't you?" "True. You trained me from someone who could not even use your firearm devices or throw a proper punch or use a weapon to being at least good enough to get into this Academy." And what training it was! Striking straw mats, iron sand, boulders and a number of other tough objects for a majority of their day until they couldn't anymore, healing their injuries with their aura and special herbs and potions, and then repeating the process! Drawing back heavy bowstrings! Running up insane amounts of stairs while carrying weights back and forth for hours! Hours spent learning to swim and then swimming! Hours spent in the gyms and dojos working out and sparring! Bracing how to take hits! Drilling marital arts for hours! Painful work on flexibility! Around the clock training! For Days! Months! Years! Two to be precise! All to get her ready for The Academy! Rose endured all of it and she would be happy to do it all again if it got her closer to saving her people and training at The Academy, learning more about the world and making a team was the first big step towards this. So Rose Briar Says: "Bring It On!

A young lady with silver and golden hair wearing a golden top and tight black pants with red pointe shoes on appeared to be leading a couple of other students in a dance routine. The dancers were doing releve's with their feet together, their knees straight and their heels high enough so all of their body weight was on the balls of their feet. Their arms were above their heads with their hands pointed downward. The group was doing a moon walk variation of this as they walked backward, interspersed with random pirouette's complete with raising one leg up and bending it to their knees. Then they started leaping into the air by springing off of one foot into the air and kicking forward with one leg and kicking backwards with the other. A Ciseaux. The ciseaux is a split leap with one leg in the front of the body and one in the back. The dancers then landed on one foot and performed an emboite' on landing. In emboité, the supporting leg is on point while the other is externally rotated. In the rotated leg, the dancer's toes point to the inside edge of his or her thigh, just above the knee of the supporting leg. Then they fell back and landed on their hands, did the splits again, pushed off of their hands, flipped in the air, landed on their feet toes again, performed a few more pirouette's, then they switched to performing a backflip off of one foot, with the forward leg being used to push off and the rear leg used for momentum, to a cartwheel, to a backward flashkick, to landing, to a sideflip,to a handstand and finally to lowering themselves down and balancing on their heads while rotating along the vertical axises of their bodies before springing back up to their feet and striking a pose with one hand on their hips, one leg raised, their heads tilted back and their index finger up, middle fingers down, pinky up, thumb in. The lead dancer girl then released her hand and snapped her fingers. Her co-dancers collapsed on the ground gasping for breath while the dancer girl lowered her leg and laughed. "So tell me. Do you little boys still wish to insult the divine art of dancing?" One of the boys on the ground raised up an arm in defense while gasping and sucking in air. "N-n-no. No. Th-that's...that's fine. That's fine...y-you're great. You're great. All hail the dance queen!" She clapped her hands and knelt down and rubbed his back. "Then all is forgiven my friends! You know? You surprised me with how well you kept up with me just now. I think you have a bright future ahead of you. Both as a Huntsman and as a Dancer! Keep practicing and we'll dance again some day!" "...I think I'm going to hurl." Another student groaned. "Oh please do not be so hard on yourself! You were great!" She assured them. "Uhhhh what just happened?" Rose asked. "It looks like we just witnessed a Dancing Semblance in action." "What? A Dance Semblance?" "Correct. The technical term is a Marionette Semblance or a Puppeteer Semblance. It's a Psionic-Based Semblance that puppeteers your target and forces them to follow your movements. It's scary but it can be countered by a strong enough Aura and Willpower." Redriot explained to her. "I see. So what should we do?" "I'm going to have a word with her. I want to know what exactly caused this altercation." "Are you sure? She's rather powerful." "Yes but she's not me." Redriot smirked.

"Hey you. What's your name?" "Hmmm? Well hello." She did a pirouette and then stood with her pelvis straight up and down with her heels touching and her toes facing sideways and then she slid one foot across the other. The heel of her front foot was in the middle of the other where it touches arch her back foot. "My name is Medallion Poskakushka. The Golden Dancer Of Ferncombe! Would you like to be friends?" She offered her hands. "Tempting but first I would like to know what happened here. You four, are you okay? What are your names? Do you require medical assistance?" "I-I'm Ickle." "I'm Liv." "I'm Zar." "I'm App." "It's nice to meet you. My name is Redriot Gozen and I will be settling this matter. Miss Poskakushka. I will hear from you first. Why were you controlling these men against their will?" "Weeelll...not outright. You see, it all started a few minutes ago. I was crossing the bridge while dancing down the bridge as I usually do. You see, I prefer to practice my dancing as often as possible...." ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Medallion leaped and twirled down the bridge. Dancing through the air as light as a feather and as majestic as a swan. she continued do so lost in her own little world of beautiful dance until she sensed someone reach out to grab her shoulder and she quickly turned around and brushed his arm aside with ease. She hopped up and down in place while she observed the four young men who'd approached her. "Hello. Whatever can I help you with?"
The apparent ringleader of the four approached her. He is tall and in very good shape, as demonstrated by his tight clothes which were obviously selected to make his muscular appearance look even more impressive, with bronzed skin, blue hair and brown eyes. His sword he has sheathed on his waist has a blade whose form suggests a hand. Its grip is formed like a woman.
"I was just admiring your fantastic dance moves. You've got some real talent. Where you from?"
"Ferncombe. It's rather far away."
"A farm girl like you has dance moves like that? That's even more impressive. My name is Appricot Bronzed. It's my very real pleasure to meet you fair lady."
"Medallion Poskakushka. But please, call me Medal. Everyone does."
"A golden medal in dancing. It suits you golden girl." He took her hand in both of his own. "But...look, it takes more than dance moves to make it in Tenjin. You need to be a fighter. The best of the best and that's me." He let go and placed a gentle hand near but not right on her shoulder. "So what do you say? Stick with me and I can turn you into a fighting machine." He offered. "If you train hard enough, you might be able to get almost as good as me."
Medallion giggled in response as she brushed his arm aside. "As nice as that sounds...my fighting style, Dance Sensation, blends dancing with the martial arts. I would love to demonstrate but..." She gestured to the Academy. "I plan to do so in the arena. There's no reason for us to fight here in front of all these people. So instead, allow me to demonstrate my dancing skills."
"Oh really? Are we going to dance together?" He stepped forward while his gaggle of friends chuckled. "Because I have some dance moves I know you'll like."
"Challenge Accepted."
She gently pushed him back and sent him sliding back towards his friends who caught him. She changed her standing position to the fifth position. When standing in fifth position, place one foot in front of the other and cross it slightly further than when standing in third position. The idea is to get your front toe in front of your back heel. To achieve the ideal fifth position, you need to place your front foot so far across your back foot, that you can’t see the one at the back. The front toe should touch your back heel and vice versa. While doing so, it is important to keep in mind of not forcing your turn out. It takes years of training to achieve the ideal fifth position. First, to practice keeping the legs straight while maintaining proper alignment; next, to use this position to do turns and jumps. Then she waved her hands around in front of her face in circles four times before she suddenly extended her hands and snapped her fingers four times.
"Let's Dance, Baby!"
Before they knew what was happening the four of them started dancing against their will. They were stuck mirroring her movements while Medallion danced down the bridge! Every jump, twist, spin, handstand, flip, cartwheel was performed against their will while they struggled against her Red Shoes Semblance. But caught off guard as they were they were unable to focus properly to use their Aura to resist it. Nor were they properly aware of how to do so.______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ "I see." She looked down at App. "Is this all true? I want to hear what happened in your own words." "That's...that's...yeah. That's it. She was right. I, uh, came on a bit strong." He confessed. "Okay then. App? You should be more polite. Give people room to breathe and stop being a dick. Medal? I understand that you felt uncomfortable but there were other options than using your Semblance to take control of their bodies against their will. Simple self-defense or avoiding conflict would have sufficed." "I suppose so." Medal agreed. "Yeah, you're right." App nodded. "Good. Now then. Shake, apologize and forgive and forget. We are all on the same side here guys. We don't need to be fighting each other. We are training to become Huntsmen to hunt down and exterminate the monsters that would threaten humanity and our Kingdoms. Those are what we should be fighting against. Understood?" "Yes Miss Gozen." They both agreed. Medal helped App to his feet. "Sorry about that. I might have gone a bit far. Please respect my personal space from now on though, okay?" "Okay." He nodded. "I will be sure to give you plenty space, Miss Gold Medal Dancer." "Thank you very much, Mr.Bronze." They shook and parted ways. Redriot sighed with relief. Crisis averted. "Wow! That was amazing, Red!" Rose cheered as she caught up to her. "Heh. All in a day's work. If I'm going to be a future leader of our Kingdom's Huntsmen, then I need to start taking charge and sorting out squabbles between them early on after all."

As the two girls started crossing the bridge towards the Academy they were interrupted by a dance party going on in the middle of the bridge! I have all the qualities of a leader who can organize our classmates into an effective army." "Hmmm? Well if you're that confident then I think I'll join your team." Medal offered. "I'm not just a dancer. I've been trained by Harl Terpsichore in the art of Dance Fighting and I'm practicing it around the clock." " Harlequin Terpsichore? The Dancer Of Death?" Redriot asked in surprise. "That explains a few things." "The Dancer Of Death? That...sounds pleasant. Have you met her, Red?" Rose questioned. "Not in person but my father described her as one of the deadliest, and most eccentric, Huntsmen in the Kingdom. Harlequin is a master of dancing and martial arts and created her own fighting style to blend the two." " Dance Sensation." Medal replied proudly. "She got her name from the smoking sexy stylishly elegant way she slew her enemies and the team of Battle Ballerinas she lead into battle." "Wow. Combat has evolved a lot since my time." "Oh just wait until we start our Academy Training." Red informed her while patting her on the back. "I would indeed welcome having a dance fighter like you on the team though. Especially with that whip sword." "Huh?" "Hmmm? So you noticed that did you?" She patted her belt which upon further inspection was actually a whip sword wrapped around her waist on top of the belt! "This is my Falcon Snake Sword. I incorporate the art of sword dancing and whipping into my fighting style with it." She pointed to Red's sheathe. "Just like you incorporated technology to speed up your sword draw." "Figured that out huh?" Red tapped her sheathe. "That's correct. My sheathe contains a rifle mechanism with a crystal magazine loaded and a trigger below the sword's hilt. When it's activated it'll charge my sword with the element I've loaded into the sheathe and then propel it out to increase the sword's cutting power. When couple with my semblance? I can cut through just about anything." Red bragged. "That is my Kusanagi no Tsurugi." "Coooool! I like it! I like you! So what about you, fancypants?" She asked Rose. "What's your weapon?" "I...have a collapsible bo-staff?" "Simplistic. I like it. We can upgrade it together if you'd like." She twirled and paused while balancing on her toes with her other leg tilted and arm raised and pointing at the girls with the other hand doing the same while held straight out. "So what do you say? Do you want to team up?" "Sure. Welcome to the team." Redriot offered her hand and she suddenly jumped in and hugged her. "Woah." "Eeeee! My first teamup! Oh this is going to be so much fun!" "So I guess this makes us Team RRM?" Rose asked. "Huh. It needs something. Something to really bring it together. What goes well with R, R and M?" (RARM? RBRM? RCRM? RDRM? Oh. Oh I like that one.) "We need a D. R.D.R.M." Medal stepped back and pointed at her. "See that? That's what I'm talking about! Ancient Wisdom!" "...Please don't call it that." Rose frowned. "Sorry, sorry. But, I mean, are you really?" Rose sighed. "Yes. Technically speaking I am over three hundred years old but I'm still physically Fifteen. Please respect that I wish to be addressed as your peer and not as old woman." "I understand." She walked forward and offered her hand. "From now on my friend, I shall view you as my Sister In Arms." "I'd like that. Thank you." She shook her hand. "Rose Briar. Welcome to the team." "Medallion Poskakushka. I'm happy to be here."

"I'd like that. Thank you." She shook her hand. "Rose Briar. Welcome to the team." "Medallion Poskakushka. I'm happy to be here." Diamond Ancelin watched this entire affair from nearby. An overzealous dancer, an ancient princess and the samurai superstar herself. They were quite the interesting trio and she wouldn't lie. They definitely had her attention. She rubbed her Dark Blue Sloped Steel Hookshot Gauntlets Penina and Jewel as she began to approach them. She would have to form a team eventually anyway right? Why not these three? They looked like exactly the kind of team she would need to keep her on the straight and narrow. As she approached them however she felt a moment of doubt and the world around her began to slow to a crawl and the three of them drifted away from her. Diam's footsteps slowed down until she stopped and she held her head down. 'Who am I kidding? Will they even want to work with me? With all of those people I've killed? All the blood on my hands? Yes, all of them were evil, horrible, twisted monsters, but they were still people. Twenty-Five people at least. That's the number of lives I've taken. Twenty-Four in the fire and then Fetcher Bluebeard was the Twenty-Fifth. Would they even want to work with me after something like that? Would anybody want me on their team? Would they even trust me? Look at them. The samurai might want to team up with me but those two are so pure and innocent. Would people like that even trust me? Why would they? Would they trust me? Could they?' She gripped her gauntlets, took a few breaths to calm herself down and she began to recite the Shining Diamond Poem her big sisters would recite for her at bedtime. "A shining bright diamond Full of sparkling love bond Appeared from the heaven With His blessings abound
A sweet flower of eternity A real picture of creativity Entered on the world's stage With Nature maternal purity
May God save her from vices All worldly hateful avarices May she be a real human being To fight away inhuman crises."She performed her breathing exercises and calmed herself down. She switched from gripping them and instead rubbing her gauntlets. "Penina. Jewel. Lend me your strength and watch over me." She whispered and resumed walking towards the girls while tiny diamonds grew around her face and through her hair causing the sun light to brilliantly reflect off of her like someone was shining a spotlight on a mirror ball! Well this certainly got their attention! As well as everyone else around her with the majority of the students around the bridge and the citizens on the other side of the bridge needing to shield their eyes. "WOAH! HEY! WHAT?" Rose yelled out. "HUUUUH? WHAT'S GOING ON?" Red shouted. She turned away from the light, grabbed her jacket, took it off and she held it in front of her face while continuing to shield her eyes. She squinted through it as she saw a shining figure approaching them. "W-wha? Is that some kind of...Light Based Semblance?" Medal turned away, took out a pair of sunglasses and she placed them on her face and turned back to face the approaching figure. "Uhm...excuse you?" The figure stopped in front of them and covered its face in embarrassment. The light died back down to a dull sparkle before she raised her head again. "Ssssorry?" She asked innocently. Red and Rose lowered their arms and Red put her jacket back on. "Excuse me...what was that?" Rose questioned. "Well...that...was my Semblance. I'm sorry. It acts up sometimes when I'm feeling particularly nervous or anxious and I've been very nervous today." "I see. And what exactly is your Semblance?" "Diamond Skin. I can cover my body with diamonds." She rubbed her gauntlets together. "My name is Diamond Ancelin. Hello." She looked around the bridge. "Sorry everyone!" There were some grumblings, some laughter and a few cheers and claps among the varied responses from the students. She laughed and waved back. "Ancelin? You're The Diamond Warrior!" "You know me?" "Word got back to my father and I about you from Carlos Greyscale. He says you're a good fighter and...I'm sorry about what happened to your sisters. You have my sympathies." Red informed her gently and offered her hand. "I...thank you." She shook her hand and then Rose stepped up and held her hand gently. "I have lost people as well Miss Ancelin. I understand the pain in your eyes. If you ever need to talk about it, I will lend you my shoulder." Medal lowered her sunglasses. "That was the flashiest entrance I have ever seen, Diam! I like you already! Want to team up with us?" "Huh? Uh? I mean, just like that?" "Of course! We could use someone with your talents on our team. So what do you say? Join team R.D.R.M?" "Wow...that was fast...uhm, yes, sure! I'd love to!" "Great! Welcome to the team, sparkles!"

"Couldn't help but catch that." She backflipped a few times back to them and turned around and posed. "So. You're going to be our leader?" "That is my goal yes. On their trip across the bridge Diam looked over the railing of the bridge at the moat underneath. The sparkling blue water shined like the diamonds on her skin from the Sun shining down on it from the Heavens. It was so incredibly beautiful. She wished her sisters were here to see it with her. She was so mesmerized by the water's shimmering beauty that she almost missed the young lady swimming down in the moat in the dark blue one piece swimsuit. Almost. The instant she saw her silhouette down there her trained reflexes zeroed in on her. As far as Diam could tell, she was a simple one-piece navy blue bathing suit with multi-colored sides. What was more notable was the way her beautiful rainbow colored skin sparkled like the surface of the water she was swimming under so casual. It wasn't Diamonds though. It was more like "Are those scales?" She asked out loud. "Hmmm?" Red approached her and hopped up on the railing and balanced on it. "Oh that's Aqua Shores. She's a Rainbow Fish Faunus. The Aquatic Faunus patrol the moats and water pathways of the Kingdom and the Academy. If anybody tries to attack or invade us from there, they'll be in for a nasty surprise. Plus they can traverse the area faster than most of us up here on land so they can spread word around quickly along with being able to bring the pain to anybody trying to cross the bridges." Red explained to her while she waved to Aqua. She jumped out of the water, performed a backflip in the air and waved to the students her pointy ears wiggling while her rainbow scales shined in the sunlight and then she splashed back into the water and resumed her swimming practice. Diam's eyes widened. Not only was she beautiful with her rainbow colored scales but she had some real solid muscle to her as well! She was even bigger than Diam herself! She was built like a wrecking machine! Diam couldn't wait to train with her. "That is so cool. I'm guessing she's the Swimming Instructor here as well?" Diam asked as a school of fish faunus followed Aqua. "That's right. She also teaches Aquatic Combat And Magic." Rose informed her and Medal. "Oh I like her. I like her a lot." Medal commented. "She'd be perfect for practicing my Water Dancing!" "That sounds like fun. Could you teach us?" Rose asked her. "It would be my genuine pleasure. I will teach you to flow like water gracefully as feathers in the wind!" "So is she strong? Aqua?" "Weeelll...admittedly, I've never seen her go all out, but I've sparred with her before in her freetime." Red hopped back onto the bridge. "We even fought on land. I still haven't won once."

"Especially since I don't want to cut down anyone on our side." "And how does this Semblance of yours work anyway?" Medal asked her. "I call it Heavenly Cutting. It pours some of my Aura into my sword and supercharges it while also generating tiny, razor sharp shark teeth-like aura claws all along the blade like a chainsaw. Think of it as a supercharged version of pouring aura into your weapon. I can use my Semblance on different weapons of course but I prefer my sword." Redriot explained. "So basically if I can get in close, I can usually end my fight with a single slash unless my opponent's aura is strong enough to counter it." "And you're taking that and enhancing it further with the modifications to your sheathe. Yeah, that will do the job. I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that." Diam laughed as the girls resumed walking. "I'm not sure if even I could block that." "In that case, you should think around it. What is the best way to fight someone with a Semblance like mine?" "Hmmm, I suppose the best method would be to take it from you or to close in and prevent you from drawing it in the first place, block you from pulling it out or throwing your sword away while using my, theoretically, superior strength to overpower you and beat you down." "Ohhh hohohoooo! So you think you're stronger than me, Miss Diamond?" She asked the taller girl. "Oh I know I am, Miss Redriot." "In that case, how about a sparring match later? No weapons. Just skill against skill." "You're on. Loser buys dinner for the team." "Deal." They shook on it and the team proceeded towards the doors. Rose just smiled, relieved to see the girls getting along so well and the team forming before her eyes.

Rose just smiled, relieved to see the girls getting along so well and the team forming before her eyes. Flames illuminated a room littered with the remains of broken robots. Thunder echoed from the rampage of the sole remaining giant that still remained to attack its opponent. A towering 40 foot tall robot designed like a knight stomped after its smaller opponent while slashing in wide arcs with its sword or trying to stab him with the blade but he would either dodge the sword or deflect the machine's weapon aside with his own prodigious aura enhanced strength. They continued their duel in the middle of the room. The echoes of their swords clashing echoing off of the walls like thunder. They continued this fight until the smaller fighter decided he'd had enough of this and struck the giant's sword hard enough to knock it out of his grip and sending it spinning across the room where it crashed into the wall and smashed down to the floor. The warrior smirked and ran towards the giant robot, leaped up to its stomach and ran up its torso while dragging his sword along its body and cutting it open! The robot attempted to grab him but he leaped up in the air to dodge its grasping hands and he flew up to its head where he stomped on its neck and then he slashed downward and split its head open! Afterword he sliced open its throat and kicked its head off before backflipping off of the robot and landing on his feet. The robot collapsed on the floor with a thunderous boom. The warrior chuckled and raised his sword, spun it and slid it into his sheathe before slicking back his red hair while the fire suppression system turned on and sprayed down the flames. "Alright that was fun. Time for a quick shower and a jog to the academy." Sir Crimson turned around to leave when he heard mocking laughter echo around the room. "Mochi? Is that you? Where are you?" "Hello Crims. You're as strong as ever." The sultry seemingly disembodied voice echoed around him. "I thought you'd like to know that our students are entering the academy together." "Team SKWD, huh? Can we count on them?" "Need I remind you, the Ghost Division trained them ourselves? You have nothing to worry about. They're a team of little professionals. Your princesses will be kept safe. And I didn't even have to kidnap them!" He sighed. "You aren't going to let me live that down are you? I found an infant in a village that had been decimated when we got there and I made a judgment call to spare her and give her a chance." "You can keep telling yourself that, darling. But we both know what you did." "I know my hands are stained with blood. Just like the rest of me. But raising that kid gave me something back. Something I thought I'd lost a long time ago. Taking care of that kid helped me rediscover the humanity I thought I'd lost." Crimson confessed. "I know that I'm no saint but I can help guide those kids into becoming the heroes I know they can be. To become better than we are." He rubbed his neck. "Besides, someone has to give Rose the training she's going to need to rescue her people." "Oh you can relax, I'm just busting your chops. All things considered you're a surprisingly good father." He turned around to see a shadowy woman hidden by the steam watching him. "Don't be late for the opening ceremonies now, Crimsy." She teased and vanished. Sir Crimson sighed and resumed his walk out of the training center. "Would it kill you to speak to someone like a normal person for once, Mochizuki?"

I still haven't won once." "Is that so?" Diam asked. "She's that good huh?" "Yeah. Granted, neither of us was going all out, but even if I used my Semblance, I doubt I'd be able to beat her yet." Red shrugged. Meanwhile, the girls arrived at the entrance to the academy which was being guarded by a pair of knights, Biggs and Wedge Darklighter. Their armor has a flat top helm with half a face guard shaped like the eyes of a board. Attached to its side are two horns which curve upwards. The shoulders of their armors are fairly pointy, spikey and moderate in size. They're decorated with a small antler on each side, pointing backwards. The upper arms are protected by chainmail rerebraces which sit nicely under the shoulderplates. The lower arms are covered by vambraces which have a tentacle-like metal ornament attached to each side and wrapping around each vambrace. The breastplates are made from many layers of squared metal sheets. It covers almost everything from the neck down, it narrows near the groin and leaves part the sides exposed. The upper legs are covered by a chainmail skirt reaching down to the knee. The lower legs are protected by greaves which have several layers of curved metal attached to the outer sides, they form a wing-like pattern. Their swords are currently sheathed. A small, narrow, straight blade made of diamond is held by a grip wrapped in extravagant, gold colored wolf leather. With just one razor-sharp edge this weapon will protect you from incoming blows while also giving you the ability to shred your enemies to pieces. The blade has a barbed, slightly curved cross-guard, adding weight to the blade for a better weight balance, as well as offering hand protection during battle. The cross-guard has a lavish spider on each side, this weapon wasn't created by just any blacksmith. A fairly large pommel is marked with the symbol of the house this sword belongs to, a symbol one can be proud of. The blade itself is engraved. Seemingly strange markings are carved into the blade, with the exception of the small scratches from battle, which are perhaps the best marks for a weapon. This weapon is used by champions and proven fighters. The capable hands of the Kingdom's greatest defenders deserve nothing less than this weapon's excellence. Their shields are resting on their arm gauntlets. This solid rounded heater shield, made from ironbark, offers great protection, especially against stabbing attacks and lunging attacks. This isn't just any old shield, as this shield was forged by abyss dwarves in a volcanic workshop. The shield's edges are reinforced with layered metal rings and have been decorated with engraved words. Its center is decorated with a painted animal head and intertwining metalwork. It's clear this shield has been through numerous battles. Damage and trauma made by who knows what leave echos of both glory and death, but one this is for sure: this shield isn't done serving just yet. In terms of power the twins were easily on the same level as Elite Huntsmen, as were all of the Kingdom's Guards, which made them perfect for guarding The Academy. Approaching them, the girls presented their ID's and the guards scanned them with devices installed in their gauntlets. There were green lights and beeping noises that signified their ID's were legitimate and they could be allowed inside. "Alright, your good to go, welcome to Tenjin Academy! Redriot, looking sharp as always, Princess, we're honored to have you joining us. Medallion, Diamond, you're both welcome to our school. We know you're going to shine here." "Nice to see you too guys! Keep up the excellent work! You're the best guards we could ask for." Redriot complimented them as she passed the twins. "Thanks again, Red!" "Always a pleasure, gentlemen." Rose replied as she bowed politely and followed her inside. "Wow, you know who we are?" Diam asked them. "That's right ma'am. We have memorized the files on every new student." Biggs informed them. "Wow. That's impressive. Uh, what are your names?" "Biggs Darklighter." "Wedge Darklighter, ma'am." "I see. Well, nice to meet you both." Diam greeted and walked past them. "We should dance together sometime!" Medal laughed as she hopped past them and danced towards the doors.

After bypassing the Darklighter Twins, they entered the inside of the Academy and were greeted by a luxurious sight! It was like they were stepping into a world spun out of solid gold! There were intricate patterns in the shining shimmering golden marble floor, gorgeous artwork hanging on the walls, beautiful shining golden pillars around the lobby, a golden fountain with sparkling blue water in the middle of the lobby with two beautiful white statues of a Huntsman and Huntress standing back to back with each other in the middle of the lobby as well. The Faunus Huntswoman, an Ant Faunus to be exact, was wearing light armor that was similar to the armor a knight would wear but designed in the motif of a Black Grasshopper and a Shinobi. She was wielding what looked like a tonfa-esque weapon with a long sword in one hand and she had a rope dart wrapped around her other arm. The Huntsman was dressed in heavy armor designed in the motif of a Samurai and he had a giant sword, more like a slab of iron really, in his hands pointed downward. Everyone in the Kingdom knew exactly who these two were. Duke Gontz and Cho Antium. Two of the greatest warriors in the Kingdom's History. Their combined power was said to be so great and terrible that it rivaled even the Gods above. An exaggeration, perhaps, but the truth that they were powerful warriors who slew an armies of men and monsters in history to protect the royal family of the Colorwheel Kingdom was well documented. It didn't matter how many foes they faced or what manner of creature they were, be they man, or beast or even beings that would be considered supernatural, they slew them all. Their presence alone was the turning point in the Battle of the White Mountain! Suffice to say they were the golden standard that every huntsman and huntress in the kingdom sought to meet. Out of all of them, only Sir Crimson and Lady Michizuki were said to come anywhere close to the borderline Demigods Duke and Cho. The rest of the lobby was just as beautiful. There were gorgeous patterns on the ceiling, a shining white light that shined down on the two statues like a holy light from the Heavens, beautiful lights hanging down from the ceiling, and more than a few fancy tables around the room with fancy leather chairs around them so students could sit back and relax in comfort while talking to each other. There were a few nice looking doors, crafted from White-Root Maple, that lead around the Academy. On the far side of the room were a pair of intricate looking stares that lead to the upper levels where a pair of fine dressed men were waiting for everyone. Redriot laughed and waved to the twin brothers. They noticed and waved in return. The brothers are dressed similarly. They're wearing plain blue shirts and have buttoned them up fully to support the elegant ties they're wearing. On top of the shirts they're wearing trendy vests with four buttons, with very narrow v-lines, which allows for a large portion of the top to remain visible, even if the jackets are buttoned up. The jacket was clearly made for them, as they are perfect fits. They have smooth chalk stripe patterns which gives their suits a refined look. The 6 buttons of their double breasted jackets are all buttoned up with the exception of one, it gives the suits a bit of both worlds, casual and stylish. The jackets are the same length all around, they have vents at the back, along with two pockets on one side and one pocket on the other and there's a breast pocket which has been left empty. They're wearing pants which have different styles than the jacket, but they complement each other perfectly and they perfectly complement his shoes. They're wearing a graceful pair of plain toe bluchers. To top it all off they're wearing fancy belts, which can be accompanied by a watch and cuff links. They were both rocking classy well groomed handlebar moustaches. The only real difference between the brothers, besides one being taller than the other, is the color of their suits. The shorter brother is dressed in a primarily red suit and the taller brother is dressed in a green suit. The Vino Brothers were a pair of Hammer Specialists. Rosso Vino and Verde Vino. OOC: Why lie? They're basically the Mario Bros. The taller brother, Verde, noticed her and happily waved back to Redriot and her team.

Even though it is an inspired story I’m starting to like this so much more than it’s canon inspiration. Thank you so much man! It does help that we're calling back to the early days of the series at Beacon Academy before everything got really insane. Before The Dark Times. Before Sally.

They're basically the Mario Bros. The taller brother, Verde, noticed her and happily waved back to Redriot and her team. "Excuse me everyone! May I have your attention please!" Rosso called out to the students. The crowd of students gathered in front of the staircase and looked up to him in attention as Pesca Nalunga walked up behind the brothers to join them. She was a tall young woman dressed in a zipped up in a light pink bodysuit with heart shaped mushrooms emblazoned on her chest, cuff links and her pants above her shoes. There is a fancy belt worn around her waist with a holster for her gun. Her gloves were a reddish pink, as were her boots, and they had the same symbol. A red hat adorned her head and short blonde bobcut. There is a domino mask on her face. Redriot also noticed the folded up war fans poking out of her belt from behind. Pesca tipped her hat to the kids. "Hello everyone. My name is Rosso Vino. This is my brother Verde." "Hello!" "And the love of my life, Pesca Nalunga." "Hello everybody! Welcome to Tenjin!" She greeted the kids while waving to them. "Thank you all for coming. We are always excited to see new students ready to take their first steps in training to become Huntsmen and Guardians of our beloved Kingdom and the World! I can see the fire in your eyes! I can see your hope for the future! I see the potential in you! I see the glorious warriors you will become! Men and Women of The Kingdom! The next great generation of Heroes will be forged right here in our Academy!" "Go ahead everyone, breathe it in, bask in this moment. Take it in. This is the first step of your journey. Years from now when you graduate with your heads held high you'll look back on this moment with pride." Verde added to them with a smile. "But before that you'll have to attend your academy's orientation. If you'll follow us we'll guide you to the Performing Arts Center Auditorium to get this party started!" Pesca cheered while pumping a fist into the air. The kids cheered with her. "Alright then kids! Please come up the stairs and follow us. Single file line please. Stay together." The students walked up the stairs and gathered together on the second floor and walked with their professors. Pesca lead them from the front and the brothers followed them from behind. They followed the Huntress down the hall while she explained the Performing Arts Center to them. "The performing arts center provides the space and opportunity for our students, faculty and artists to perform, act, sing and participate in a wide variety of cultural performances. While the performances are generally up to the performers we have access to technology that can elevate the performances with music, lighting effects, smoke machines and plenty more! You'd be surprised what you can put together with sufficiently advanced technology. We've even set up some robot fights." She informed them as they walked the halls. They turned down another hallway and walked down a flight of stairs to a pair of double doors. She high-fived the usher and he let them inside. "Alright everybody! Take your sets please!" She informed them and the students walked into the ornate golden auditorium theater. They took in the sights as they filed inside. It was just so amazing looking! It was fantastic! Team RDRM found a row they liked and sat down while the professional Huntsmen and Huntresses of the Kingdom assembled on stage while Pesca and The Brothers guarded the entrances. Redriot smiled as she looked over the various warriors of the Kingdom assembling on stage of course but the moment she and Rose spotted their father they immediately started waving to him. Sir Crimson beamed with pride as he saluted his daughters in return. "I see they've already assembled their team." The veiled ninja in the black dress whispered next to him. "The dancer and the diamond dame. I must say they have a good eye for talent." "That's my girls, Mochi. I trained them to have an eye for exceptional talent." He replied proudly.

With everyone settled in and the stars all assembled on stage, a podium rose up out of the floor as the curtain parted briefly to reveal a much older man with long spiky white hair with a moustache and beard. He also has a scar on his right eye running diagonally from the middle of his forehead down to just above his right cheekbone. He is also wearing a nice grey suit worn over a buttoned up white shirt and tie. He's wearing a smooth shirt and buttoned it up fully to support the graceful bow tie he's wearing. On top of the shirt he's wearing a sleek vest with 3 buttons, it has a fairly deep v-line, it's just narrow enough for the top to remain visible, adding another layer to the overall look of the suit. The jacket is a perfectly tailored fit for him. It has an elaborate checked plaid pattern which gives the suit a fancy affluent look. The 3 buttons of his double breasted jacket are all buttoned up, a stylish and elegant choice. The jacket is the same length all around, it has vents at either side, there's a single pocket on one side and there's a breast pocket which has been left empty. He's wearing pants which have the same pattern as the jacket, but a different, complementary color and they perfectly complement his shoes. He's wearing a classy pair of medallian cap toe oxfords. To top it all off he's wearing a stylish belt, which can be accompanied by a hat and cuff links. This man's wizened face peered out at the students filling the auditorium and his face lit up. At first glance, his eyes would seem to be so heavily lidded and weighed down with the wrinkled folds of age that you could mistake him for someone asleep but he was quite alert. If you could look closer at this old man you would see that the map of wrinkles on his face told of the most incredible journey. His eye lines told of laughter, of warm smiles and affection. His forehead told of worries past and worries present. But mostly they were so deeply engrained they told or a man who had travelled through decades, over a century, to that moment; to stand here as an old man, ready to lead them all into the future. Every single student in the auditorium bowed their heads in respect for this old man. For he was Grandmaster Gantholion Gran. Headmaster of Tenjin Academy and The Great Wizard Of The Kingdom. One of the most well respected Veteran Heroes of the Kingdom. After they bowed he began his speech. "Ladies and Gentlemen of the Color Wheel Kingdom. Welcome." His voice echoed throughout the auditorium and washed over them with the authority of a man in his physical prime. "Tenjin Academy has trained the greatest Huntsmen, Huntresses, Heroes and Soldiers of our Kingdom for generations. I myself entered this splendid academy one hundred years ago as a sixteen year old boy alongside my own dear friends. We trained and studied together for years, persevering through the greatest trials the world could throw at us to graduate from the academy with smiles on our faces and our heads held high ready for more! Throughout my many years of walking this world and protecting this Kingdom I have seen countless heroes emerge from these hallowed halls with the exact same feelings of pride and honor. I see the same hungry looks of anticipation that have lit up the faces of every new generation of heroes now on your faces. The road that lies before you will be a long and hard one, fraught with peril and twists and turns. But do not be discouraged! When life knocks you down, it's testing you to see whether you have the strength or not to stand back up. Don't give up! The Hero's Journey is never an easy one but that is what will make you heroes. You do not give up. You do not feel discouraged. You do not know fear. You will face every challenge head on with smiles on your faces. You will stare down the greatest challenges of your lives with brave eyes that know no fear! You will be the next great generation of heroes who will inspire generations to come! When the children of future generations look towards their own future, they will see the light of hope that you have shined for them. We will guide you down your path of righteousness but you will be the ones who take those important first steps, push yourselves in your training and excel in your studies. There will be a lot of sweat, tears and likely blood but I know that if you put in the effort, you will find your way to victory. Remember! Nothing in the world is impossible if one sets their mind to it!" He raised his hands off of the podium and turned his palms upward. "Now with that rousing speech out of the way...let me say once more! WELCOME TO TENJIN ACADEMY!" Multicolored lights shined out of his palms like laser lights and shined out of the room and then he placed his palms together and then parted them to reveal a single shining sphere of rainbow lights swirling around together. The sphere raised up into the air and then burst out into a neon bright light flaming words as the curtain was drawn back to reveal a painting of the students standing in front of Tenjin Academy dressed in graduating caps and gowns. The students stood up and erupted into cheers and applause. " Hey is that...was that what I think it was?" Redriot whispered to Rose amidst the cheers. " Oh yes it was. I can feel it. That was Old Magic." Rose whispered back in awe. Medallion could only applaud with the others in silent awe of the power she'd just witnessed from the Headmaster. "That...was...amazing." Diam responded to the display in amazement.
