(OK Big Guy, whatever happens in this case of theirs, just arrange it so The Kid can get laid for once) After he finished his internal prayer he heard his phone vibrating from a text message. He shrugged and took it out. An unknown number but a very simple message. "A Flairman huh? I can certainly put on a show but it's certainly the first time I've been called that. Destiny is the one usually flairtending." He shrugged. He was about to respond to the text message but it slowly crumbled apart and vanished. |

As I helped hang both of our coats on the hook at the door Kate examined the spare room. The spare room which just so happens to be an abandoned boxing gym which Dave purchased and upgrade it into a center where he'd train inner city youths and sometimes provide a safe haven against the dangers that lurks within Castle City. Courtesy of a few protection spells that Dave's wife Inari would arrange. I train and assist in there from time to time.
In the center of the room has a ring that is upgraded from an boxing ring to an section where Dave's students would practice MMA. Where Ama reigned supreme as Queen of The Ring.

We don't know her exact power level but we should assume she's on the badass side of things. As such, it behooves us to over prepare. Assume she's extremely powerful and bring everything we can. As always I recommend holy relics and purifying salt at the very least but I don't know if we'll be able to trick her into standing in a circle." Kate tapped the table. "What do you think?" |

Note: The ones in italics is Damon's Hard Boiled Monologue Two most important factors that you must go by when dealing with a demon are this:
- Don't trust them
- Be prepared
At their worst, Demons can be unpredictable, then there are moments when you'd get lucky. No matter how scary or vile a demon has they usually have some kind of code of conduct that they go by. The one code they all just so happen to go by is The Deal. When that realization is discovered it gave me the inspiration I just needed to really get this plan into motion.
"While we must remain on our toes, thats for sure, I don't think we have anything to worry about in regards to the demon. In fact I can give three reasons why this one won't be hostile: 1.As powerful as this demon is she would've hunt me down already. 2. The Demon Code. When arranging a meeting demons usually must be gracious to their guest. Especially if they want to lure in a potential client. and No.3. It's Christmas or as I'd call A Break From Chaos Holiday." Damon explained to her.
You'd think it would be Halloween right? No. It's not. If you think demon's are scary just wait till you see them on Halloween. For some reason that's the one day where they pull no punches.

Ho.Ly.Shrek!!! I'm literally living out one of my Noir novella!! I haven't even met the Lady yet and already I'm seeing more layers with this than I should have.
Damon hides it well and if it weren't for the meditation training that Sensei Yoshi taught him then Damon would be sweating like a deer in a cave full of wolves. But instead he kept himself relaxed, even though he's freaking out internally. "For someone as powerful as your....Boss?"
"Reliable ally would be more appropriate" Kate corrected.
"Oh-Kay. Then for her to have you reach out to me then whomever is after her must be bad news. Something tells me that contingency plan sounds pretty tempting right now" Damon got up from his seat.
"Where are we going?" Kate asked
"To pick up 1/2 of the contingency plan" Damon responds
