Knights of The Universe: Remnants of The Empire

I am not going to sugarcoat this. The serial is a straight up homage to Star Wars. More specifically where I wanted the sequel trilogy to go. While it will start out as an homage it will soon evolve into its own thing. A lot of works started out this way. This is no different

INT. CASTLE MYRDIN – SPACE
An intense 70mm shot(and of the duration of the rest of the movie) of the interior of the royal space vessel. It shook violently as it's trying to escape the eye of the storm that is the impending destruction of the planet Draconia. There is only a handful of Draconians who managed to make it out alive.

INT. MED-BAY – SPACE
A crimson-skinned humanoid female elven alien with long black tendrils of hair had finished giving birth to an infant girl.

Arturia Ka'Stagir: Empress of Draconia. She lays down, exhausted, still weakened from the fatal injuries that she received prior the escape. She's at Death's Door but still, has some fight left in her

EXT. CASTLE MYRDIN – SPACE
A wormhole is activated and it sucked the ship in, just barely getting it out of the vicinity where Draconia exploded. Look closely and you'd notice the entire exterior of the ship happens to be the majestic CASTLE MYRDIN, a majestic symbol of the now fallen kingdom.





THE KNIGHT breathes a sigh of relief. She doesn’t want to even entertain the thought of what would happen if they get caught in the explosion. She cleaned the baby up and wrapped the infant in a blanket. She looked at the infant. She looked more like her mother. Not just in looks but how she faced the situation. The infant moved and cooed at The Knight, that was the only sound she made when she was delivered. She didn't cry like most delivered infants would. This one was extraordinary.

The Knight caressed the infant then at The Empress, still looking as radiant at the face of Death. She hands the infant to her mother.


INT. MED-BAY – SPACE
The Knight removes the helmet, it's long black tendril hair flows down to its shoulders and revealed it's crimson Draconian features. It's reptilian eyes looked at Arturia's own, that is electric blue in color, as she placed a hand on its face affectionately. There is no exchange in dialogue. The Knight placed one hand on The Empress's face then another on the back of the infant's head affectionately.

The Knight leaned forward, touching her forehead with Arturia's. The Empress smiled, she closed her eyes, then quietly passed away. The Knight's arms shook slightly, she lost an Empire and an Empress. But gained one final gift that Arturia bestowed upon her.



Princess Morganwise clutched her chest as she felt her mother's passing. Tears started to well up and fall down her face.




The Knight walked out of the Med-Bay, carrying the infant. Her expression is in complete shock, while still trying to care for the only thing that reminded her of the fallen Empress. The infant cooed, she reached up and touched The Knight's hand.

The Knight looked down at the infants electric blue eyes. A sob barely escaped her throat but she remained strong for the infant's sake. Despite her age, the baby is aware of the situation and comforted The Knight the best way she can. The Knight takes a deep breath, calming herself.








EXT. GAEA – NIGHT
A beautiful green planet, the Empress liked to venture there and it's a place where she and The Knight form a union that shall forever remain unbreakable.

The Knight sets a torch to the logs stacked under a funeral pyre where Arturia's body lies. She is dressed in her royal ceremonial attire. The Knight, Princess Morganwise, and Arturia watched as flames rise and consume The Empress.










INT. SHINRON ARENA - PLANET ARYA
A breathtaking place with sufficiently advanced technology. This is a place for warriors, knights, and heroes to train. Our two heroes in particular circle eachother as they prepare for a training session of their own. They're dressed in form fitting training attire, it resembled a latex space suit but in actuality it's a sheet of armor disguised as clothing attire. They can even summon your ideal training weapon with a thought.

Princess Morganwise, now Empress Morganwise twirls a sword in her hand; She's 21 years of age currently, grown into a beautiful young woman, with a fierce determination.






Princess Arturia; 18 years of age currently, spirited adventurer, and resembles her late mother the older she gets. Just gave a relaxed smile and, with her bo-staff in hand, gets in a fighting position.






INT. SHINRON ARENA - CONT
Empress Morganwise remains on the defensive while Princess Arturia continues to attack her with the Bo-Staff. Princess Arturia's attacks are quick and fierce, given her size she learned to keep the fight in her favor and to end it as quick as possible.


Empress Morganwise continued blocking her attacks with the single sword her moves are like a steady pond, calm and undisturbed. There was no sense of desperation. It's a never ending chess battle the siblings would play, Empress Morganwise studies every move she make. Then Princess Arturia makes a move that catches her completely off guard.

With the palm of her hand she struck at Empress Morganwise's stomach. Her hand never touched but Empress Morganwise felt like she was gut punched by a brick. The hit was powerful enough to send The Empress flying across the ring.


INT. SHINRON ARENA - CONT
It had to take Empress Morganwise to summon a force outside the realms of reality to stop herself from going out of bounds. She twirls and lands on one knee. She breathes heavily, that hit knocked the wind out of her. Yet it gave her the motivation she needed. She take a few deep breaths. She can sense her little sister charging at her. She closed her eyes and placed the palm of her hand on the arena mat.

She waited for Princess Arturia to swing her staff, the minute it reached her face The Empress vanished. Princess Arturia looked around to find she's alone in the arena. Or is she?

Princess Arturia yelled as sparks fly from her back, then from her stomach. We can make a blurred image of Empress Morganwise who elbowed Princess Arturia to the face. She didn't fly, more like tumbled across the floor. She stopped herself as her fingers dig into the ring. We are talking about 100% pure Veranium Metal, one of the most strongest metals in the Galaxy, and Princess Arturia managed to pierce through it.

She grits her teeth in anger and forced herself up. She sprints after her sister and we are seeing a extraordinary display of Draconian Combat occurring.

The speed of the strikes rises like a drum solo that seems impossible to sustain. Princess Arturia lets out an animalistic like scream, she wants to beat her sister so bad. But unfortunately for her, this isn't the night.

Empress Morganwise showcased her age and combat experience. She begins to dodge each of Princess Arturia's relentless attacks. It is a never ending chess match of combat between the two siblings. With the palm of her hand she struck at the center of Princess Arturia's chest. Her palm was just a few inches away but the impact felt as powerful as a punch.

Princess Arturia felt the insides of her body start to tingle and before she know it she dropped her weapons and her knees buckled beneath her. Her arms fell and she fell to her knees. She tried to lift her arms up but to no avail. Her weapons vanished. Empress Morganwise won the round.





Sure. It can be those things. But in the end, you've let your emotions get the better of you. And emotion can be a powerful ally when using The Essence but you've got to know when to control it. Otherwise, you'd get out of control and risk becoming lost in The Darkness. Once you've mastered that, you'd become a fine warrior one day.





She pressed at the center of Princess Arturia's chest and helped her up.
