Caesar R. Hellstrand rested his back against the metal wall of the carrier that was transporting them through the skies towards Haven Isle. His crimson red hair was hanging down in front of his face. A startling contrast to the white jumpsuits he and Adachi were wearing. At least the heavy blue handcuffs on their wrists which were behind their backs and their feet blended in better. Caesar was an athletic young man who looked like he could be a punk and he was. Or used to be. After what happened, he just couldn't be that person anymore. Even worse, he'd dragged Adachi down with him. Now here they were, being shipped off to an island they'd never heard of that the heroes claimed would help them get sorted out and get their heads on straight. Caesar wasn't sure if it would be enough but he would 100% give it his all. Adachi Yamauba smiled at her boyfriend despite their current predicament. "Hey now baby, what's with the long face? We're going to be okay." She assured him. "You heard them, they're giving us another chance." Her hair is purple and short, reaching only her neck and her bangs cut past her forehead. Her eyes are lustrous purple, with red makeup usually painted right above them. Her Oni Horns appear to flow out of her body naturally, going from the same pale tone of her skin and gradually becoming wine-red. Her fangs are sharp and long compared to those of humans. "You shouldn't be here. I shouldn't have dragged you down with me." "Oh come on, Caesar. We promised forever to each other. Through thick and thin. No matter what." "You could've cut yourself a plea deal you know." "And let you go through this alone? No way in hell, baby. I'd rather be beside you in a storm, than safe and warm by myself. Besides, I know better than anyone in there what you're going through. If anybody can help you through it, it's me. And if anybody can help me through it, it's you." A small smile returned to Caesar's face. "You're an angel, honey." "I'm an Oni but thank you all the same." "That's right you two. What you did was a serious crime but...you've been given a rare chance here." A guard dressed in sleek body armor informed the pair. He was one of two dozen armed and armored guards sitting around them. His helmet was currently retracted at the moment but it could come right back up in an instant if necessary. "This facility is a top secret area where we take wayward powered kids like yourselves and give you a chance to turn your lives around. You'll have to put in a lot of work and it won't be easy but if you put in the work and dedication you can earn yourselves a chance to turn it all around and be reintroduced back into society." "Thank you sir. I promise, we'll do our best." Caesar replied sincerely. "Anything to make up for what we did sir." Adachi added. "Good. That's what we want to hear." The guard replied to them. "Now get comfortable you two. It'll be another thirty minutes before we land." "So, where are we right now anyway?" Caesar asked him. "We're currently passing through another dimension. You have to understand, in order for the kids to be able to train and work on their redemption efforts in peace without possibility of interference from criminals, the Island has to be housed inside of a pocket dimension." "Wow. You guys can do that?" Adachi asked the guard in surprise. The guard smiled. "The Alphas have some of the most advanced tech in the world." "Well now. This just got interesting didn't it?" Caesar grinned.

Caesar grinned. "Glad to see you're in good spirits, kid, but you have a long road ahead of you." Another guard informed them. "After what you did, you're going to be here for a long time. Burglary, theft, breaking open an ATM Machine, stealing cash registers, shoplifting, grand theft auto...stuff like that would've been bad enough. But then there was that whole mix up with The Giovannucci Family." "To be fair, we admitted we only got involved with them to steal from them." Adachi pointed out. "Annnnd we diiiid tell the Capes what we knew about them." "A fact they appreciated, and it might have earned you some points to come here, but you're still in hot water regardless." The guard reminded them. "Regardless of your intentions, getting involved with people like that is bad for your health. So is the rest of the crimes you two were wrapped up in. And furthermore, on top of that, on top of all of that, you killed someone." The guard's tone turned icy cold. "If it was up to me, you brats would be locked up for the rest of your lives for that, but for some godforsaken reason, The Capes seem to think you can turn your lives around. So you're being dropped off on The Island instead." Adachi became quiet and Caesar hung his head once more. They had nothing to say to that. Even if they did, it would just sound like an excuse. Regardless, regretting someone's death you caused ultimately does nothing, since you can never fix it. The lovers knew that this island was a lot better than they deserved. Whether or not they deserved redemption, they would be damn sure to try. "That's right. This is it. Your one chance to turn things around, if you even can. If you screw up here, you're done. It's prison for both of you. So be nice, be polite, follow the rules, do as you're told and don't fuck it up. Understand?" "Yes sir." "Yes sir." "Good. Now stay quiet and reflect on your actions until we arrive." The pair remained silent for the remaining twenty-five minutes until the pilot spoke up. "Heads up kids! We're approaching Haven Island!" Caesar and Adachi braced themselves for whatever could be waiting for them on the island.

Caesar and Adachi braced themselves for whatever could be waiting for them on the island. The ship flew into a hangar and docked itself. Once it set down the guards stood up and the ones who had their helmets down had them form back up around their faces. "Alright maggots. Time to get up. Rides over." Caesar and Adachi were both pulled to their feet and marched out of the ship as the back door opened up. They were marched down a ramp and got their first look at the interior of a large facility. It was immaculately squeaky clean. Not a speck of dirt or grime anywhere as far as the two could tell. The silver walls and tiled floor were literally sparkling! The facility was also extremely large. You could easily fit a few warehouses in here. There were multiple guards either stationed around or patrolling the facility and checking monitors and other high tech devices. "If you're thinking of trying to escape, don't bother. The ships are DNA locked. Without the hands of designated faculty members, one of the Heroes or one of us, the ships won't work." "Not that you'd get very far anyway." Another one scolded them. (Oh this all bodes well.) Caesar noted. They were marched through the facility up to a gate which of course was surrounded by guards. "Who's the new kids?" "Caesar R. Hellstrand and Yamauba Adachi." "Oh yes. The little monsters from Cloudsummit." Adachi grunted upon being called a monster but let him continue. "Well don't you two worry. Haven Isle is a safe place. You'll be in good company with other kids who are trying to change their lives around just like you and a selection of staff, doctors and therapists who will give you the help you need to turn your lives around. This is the chance of a lifetime for you kids. Don't waste it." The guard advised. "Now if you two will step on the mats the doors will open and you'll slide on through scanning." The kids shrugged and did as they asked. They separated and stepped onto mats in front of doors. The doors slid open and they walked inside onto moving walkways that slid them forward under a series of blue lights that were emitted by scanners that analyzed them inside and out and scanned for any hidden weapons and checked their health and more. Once they finishing passing through the processing the doors on the other side opened and they stepped out. "What the hell was that?" Adachi asked. "Standard procedure. Please follow us." A guard informed them. The kids did so and followed the guards to another door and when this one opened they were greeted by bright natural light and a rush of fresh air! When their eyes cleared they found themselves staring out into a long path surrounded by grass and flowers on either side with birds flying around overhead along with pink butterflies that flew around the flowers. The pair followed the guards out onto the path. They followed him up and looked around their surroundings. They were indeed on an island. The two couldn't see any beaches from here but there was flora in every direction the likes of which they'd never seen! Aside from the path and the facility behind them, it was plantlife everywhere! Caesar had to admit it was beautiful but there was something else nagging at him. (If there was a single Botanokinetic on this island, they'd be unstoppable.) He noted. (Which must mean that they either have some way of preventing us from using our powers or the person in charge of this place is one.) (These plants smell weird.) Adachi noted. (This whole place smells weird. It's like walking into a fragrance store but everything is mismatched and none of them match how they're supposed to smell! This is going to take some getting used to.) At least it was pretty to look at. The pair followed the guards along the path for several minutes, about an hour to be precise, until they reached a tall ornate gate. The guard tapped a placed his hand on a reader. "Svit Symeonu Fenstermacher speaking! We've got the two new kids! Open 'er up!" The gate opened up and the pair stepped through it to be greeted by a gigantic sprawling mansion that looked like it came out of some kind of Fairytale! "No way. Shut up!" "Are you serious? Are we actually staying here?!" Caesar asked in astonishment. "Welcome to your new home kids: Haven Mansion!"

Are we actually staying here?!" Caesar asked in astonishment. "Welcome to your new home kids: Haven Mansion!" As they walked through the courtyard the door of the mansion opened up and a woman in a black business pantsuit approached them. She had flowing light brown gold hair that was blowing in the breeze and an angelic face and figure. She smiled warmly as she approached them and they met in the center of the courtyard. "Hello. You two must be Caesar and Yamauba? Welcome to our fine establishment. My name is Orsolina La Penta and I am one of the professors here at Haven Mansion. Rest assured, we are going to do everything we can to help you two turn your lives around. I know you've had it rough, and you've done things you both regret, but we don't see anybody as being beyond redemption here. Everybody can be helped. Everybody can turn their lives around." Orsolina told them in a sweet and heartwarming voice. "But first...I must ask that you hold out your hands and I will place a little insurance on your hands." "Uhhh...what kind of insurance?" Caesar asked. "It's a marker. So that we know where you are on the grounds. It is just for your safety and ours." Not having any real choice the two offered their hands and Orsolina placed her hands on theirs. There was a flash of light and the lovebirds felt a tingle on their hands. "There we go! See? Completely painless!" They looked at their hands to see a strange eye symbol tattooed on their palms. The symbol was turned sideways with a black outline, a green sclera in the center and a black dot with red crosshairs on it. "Uhhhh what is this?" Adachi questioned. "That's the marker. I call it 'Every Breath You Take' after the song because no matter where you go on the island, I'll be able to sense your location. Don't bother trying to wash them off. They don't come off unless I will them away. Hence they will remain on you for the duration of your stay. Once your time here is up and you are decided as being fit to rejoin society I will remove them. This is just to ensure your safety and our own. Just in case." (Riiiiiiight!) Caesar and Adachi thought to themselves. "Well...okay then. Hand tattoos. Cool." Caesar shrugged. "Alright then. Any other super security measures?" "Ohhhh just the standard security you'd expect to find at schools like Paragon Academy." She grinned. "Wow." "Your safety is our top priority children. So lets get along okay?" They both nodded eagerly. "Great!" She clapped her hands. "Alright guys. Thanks for escorting them. You can go! Say goodbye children!" "Bye I guess." "Thanks for the ride. Drive safe." The guards waved goodbye and exited the mansion grounds. "Okay then! Now if you two will follow me inside, we can start your grand tour!" Orsolina beamed and she lead them towards the mansion. "...Baby?" "Yeah, Adachi?" "...Are we screwed?" "It's a little early to say right now. Lets give it a day before we decide."
