Writing Pet Peeve: This is one of the many reasons why I refuse to write a high school setting that takes place within a high school. Outside of me not giving a crap it usually opens up the one cliche that I hate. Ok you have powers and I get wanting to keep a low profile. Do you really need a bully to complicate things? Invincible was at least smart with this. What bully in their right mind would mess with Mark? He'd fuck them up! Even Smallville Clark hardly had those kind of issues. Of course Smallville Clark was built like a tank, even during his high school years. I miss Smallville If you have a teen hero the last thing you should need is to give him a standard bully. They already have it bad enough in dealing with super powered criminals. |

They already have it bad enough in dealing with super powered criminals. That is explicitly why I had Clementine troll the hell out of her bullies. Exactly this. Removes that annoying cliche plot point and moving forward with the important characters.  It's actually a running gag in her story. Whenever someone tries to harass her in her civilian life and won't leave her alone, she switches to trolling mode and tricks them into hurting themselves and each other. Mark also made certain to slap down his bully once he got his powers and he was forgotten about so he could focus on his wacky superhero adventures. Speaking of Clark, it is weird that a number of the bullies at Smallville High ended up becoming super villains. Fitting but weird. |

Along with working great as distractions, and kidnapping people and Rangers on occasion and occasionally infiltrating as normal humans. They can even drive cars or become Rangers themselves with some outside help. Putties were surprisingly talented all things considered. |
