Going to make the crazy ultra violence stand out even more! Just cut out...that scene. Make Anissa a Noble Warrior instead Honestly, you could probably just have them beat the hell out of each other and use it as a metaphor for sex as she lets Mark vent his frustrations out. Potentially leading to actual, consensual, area wrecking sex.

A one night stand is just as controversial. Yet not as icky as the other scenario.

A one night stand is just as controversial. Yet not as icky as the other scenario. Agreed. It portrays Mark as being in a vulnerable position, and Anissa preying on that, but still consensual at least. What actually happened in 110 was...yeeesh. Just unnecessary all around.

Still a better sequel than Last Blood. I still say the last few minutes is the epilogue to Rambo 4. Makes Last Blood look all the more better for it

What I was going to say for the PM, after reading the manga where the main character gets bullied by some bratty twat the more convinced I am in that A Silent Voice is a masterpiece. It tackles bullying and handles the subject on a more mature manner. It even does a bold job in not vilifying the bully as he does grow to become a decent human being and sets to atone for his actions.
The first thing that puts me off is how much of a wuss the male character is. I hate anime male characters who'd flinch at a small gust of wind. There's sympathy characters and there's characters who outright refuse to stand up for themselves.

I just don't get why the MC doesn't just grab the brat and yell at her to either respect his space or freaking leave him alone. Because they do not have a healthy friendship and you'd think he'd be smart enough to realize that. A Silent Voice is indeed a masterpiece. That Anime hits you in feels man. It really felt like a Miyazaki. It was that beautiful. Honestly, I'd say Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out is a better version of Nagatoro-San. Uzaki can be similarly smug and goofy around the boy she likes, but he's actually allowed to get one over on her and karma regularly bites Uzaki in the butt. It helps that she's played for laughs and their friendship is more genuine.

Oh so agreed! I'm sure there are moments in the series where she's nicer but the early parts of the Manga just make her so unlikeable to me that I just didn't bother.
